The team moved from Minesota to LA many years ago. They were the Minesota Lakers

Thanks.
the reference to LAKERS is the state motto of MINN. Land of a thousand Lakes. Hope I was able to help.
The Spurs are on top. End of story. Give them their props that are due. R.C. has pretty much out-manuevered all the GM'S in this league and it's paying off.
Mitch Kupchak is a complete Shmuck and miss the out of Mr. Logo (J.W.)
And in all fairness, The Lakers have been around alot longer than the Spurs so yeah, we better have more rings. But I digress, wonder what would have happend if the Spurs would have been around just 10 years earlier? Hmmm. One will never know.
3 rings. 3 almost different rosters. Yeah, I have to admit. pretty impressive.
Like I mentioned on a earlier post. I love hearing the old veteran Spurs fans prop my showtime Lakers. I know many of you in here that can remember those days will agree.
Those where a classy bunch of guys. I know many of old lady Spurs fans that went ga-ga over good ol Pat Riley.
..thats why I don't hate or get into these dumb arguments.
Yeah, thanks so much!

Showtime certainly was the Lakers' highwater mark, not only in play and class but in astute front office moves. West didn't do much his last few years in LA, Shack and Kobe were gifts. Lakers' fans have to worry and wonder if Mitch Upchuck can ever get it done again.
