Russia is climbing into a pile o . Assad's people are getting the out, he has barely any army left. If they try and prop up this guy for an extended period a lot more Russian mothers are going to be asking Putin what happened to their sons. Since apparently a number of Russian soldiers just randomly wandered into Ukraine and died.

So now China, Iran and Russia have a wide open corridor all the way to Syria. Nothing the US can do about it anymore.
Also about 1,000 chinese marines are preparing to be deployed to join Russian marine comrades. The chinese main objective is to destroy the chinese muslim radicals that have travelled to wage war in Syria. Chinese are protecting their interests in Xinjiang province which is full of Islamic radical cells.
The Russians will be concentrating on defeating the Chechen muslims that have poured into Syria.
btw, the Chinese aircraft carrier will be fully operational by November.
This was inevitable. If the Middle East continued to up, a foreign power would intervene and take it over. Now its happening, but multiple foreign forces. Amazing stuff.
