of a find. Now that takes me back.
Speaking of Spurs commercials, anyone remember these from 1999?ting on Malone. The last one at the 10:52 mark is the one they played in the first commercial break after clinching in Game 5.
of a find. Now that takes me back.
Tony's cooking class is the best one so far. the others just don't have the snap
as in years past......
My favorite of all time was still the "Bruce's Cow Chips" one with Bruce Bowen and Brent Barry (and Pop) from like 2004-05.
Yes it surely answered everything! Thanks so much! Good learning day for me~~
lamarcus was the best(except for in the "gifts for lamarcus" vid)
Party is hilarious I thought
"can I use my knife?" With a half serial killer look
I didn't know or must have forgotten (?) Danny Green is a left-hander
Wowza... Awesome, thanks. Especially 10:52
I had never seen these before. You miss a lot of stuff as a non-local fan. So much fun to watch. The look on David's face when he holds the LOB trophy for the first time always gets me. Thanks for posting![]()
Cooking with tony was pretty funny![]()
I remember these! That year did have a magical feel to it. But I never could have imagined what the next 15 years after brought. From that team (and a city) just so happy to have their one moment in the sun, to now what's widely recognized as the best and most successful franchise in professional sports.
Really makes these arguments about Kawhi's points per game or Tony's loss of a step seem even more ridiculous than they already are.
Brian Scalabrine really liked the cooking one. He laughed when he saw the "serious spurs" doing this for a commercial.
Well said.
I remember that first championship and how the entire city was totally into the journey and the excitement.
I still think 5 was the best of all, emotionally, but that first one was awfully stupendous.
Took them long enough..,
I always liked the mango tree and the one where bruce sneaks off with the ice cream
Can anyone find the HEB one with Popovich in his garden and he bites into a carrot covered with dirt? It was HEBs way of saying you don't have to grow your own produce, come buy produce from us instead. It was on years ago but has disappeared. Lots of writers have commented how they don't know how Popovich feels with his players doing these silly commercials not knowing that he did one himself.
