you still have 25 unused posts left. Do they roll over to the next day?
Much as I dislike my job, I am still afraid to quit it. I don't know if that is common sense talking or something that needs to be overcome.
Thoughts?
I know I am neither the first nor last to go through this transition phase. How did you guys handle it?
Well as long as you aren't quitting it before you find something else, then I don't see any problem in looking around since you are obviously not happy there.
Did you like getting yelled at?
When you go to work? you think about your family , picture them all standing their with you, are you going to let them down?
When you need motivation? Think about all the people who lost all they had in the NO. Floods, Ask yourself would any of them love to trade places with you?
Are you willing to let them down also?
It may not be a great job but it is one and I am grateful for paid bills.
My biggest fear is doing something that will mess up my future with my Spurs job. I would put up with anything to work there.
I put in an application for a job as an assistant teacher and I am going to apply at a few more place Monday.
If one of those works out, wonderful.
If not, I can hang in there. Who know, this job may improve.
Hurry up November. = )
Have Kori help you with a resume, She is good, I start Monday at Bill Millers Bar B Q
If you feel down? Just be glad you don't have this job.

Good Luck!
Good luck angel luv
good luck angel, your awesom you deserve a better job
Thanks all.
Mouse what the heck is that guy doing?
Perhaps I missed something - is the photo job related to the SBC job?
You already have a good rep with the folks at SBC. If this woman is a total biatch, I'm sure that other people know that about her and won't be surprised when you leave. If you get the teaching job, simply tell the woman that you are leaning towards a career in teaching and it's an opportunity you can't pass up. If you get a job at the mall, tell her you are leaning towards a career in retail and that they are giving you an opportunity to go into management. You get the general idea.
Whatever job you get, take the high road with her and let her know that you appreciate the opportunity she gave you and that you learned a lot. If she blows a gasket, keep your cool and keep repeating how much you appreciate the opporunity you had while you were there.
The photo job isn't at all related to the SBC Center job.
I am just concerned about scheduling two jobs but hopefully someone will be willing to work with me.
Thanks for the advice Melissa. I appreciate it. = )
You bet. Just be honest with your prospective job that you have a previous commitment and tell them what time you have available. Are you looking for part-time or full-time? With the holidays approaching, you might have some great luck looking in retail for a part-time position. I hear that The Container Store is a great place to work and I know they always need holiday help and it can often turn in to a full-time position.
Not to change the subject, but is the skating park open at Rolling Oaks Mall?
someone tried to make a caption topic but they spelled it captain
the guy must be a captain of a barge of some sort,
here is the topic

I have to have full time to cover expenses.
I would still try Container Store - I think they have a flex schedule and I've heard the benefits are great.
Thanks again to everyone for your support and advice. Here is a quick update.
I called about the teacher's job but foudn that it won't work with my Spurs schedule and also the commute is really not logical with today's gas prices.
I also applied for the mall job today. It was the position I was most interested in . The woman I needed to speak to was off, but her collegue was very helpful. I hope to get a call about an interview tomorrow.
I talked to my boss at the photo lab. I felt it was best to be upfront with her. I told her that the packaging work is just not for me because I like to be around people, not just look at them all day.
She was incredibly understanding and even offered me the chance to train as a school photo photographer.
I feel much better now that everything is out in the open and that I have another job option if the mall doesn't work out.
You work at a photolab...can i get a discount on my negatives??
What?!?!? You don't have to get all complicated...all you gotta tell that is off...I'm out!!!
Hey that's near where I work..in fact very near. Just two stores down.
Angel: you, you, you, you're cool, and you, I'm out!
