    lol on adsl2 24mb connection $117 a month 1tb cap

wont be getting cable/fibre till end of the year or dec 2017 till my suburb gets the rollout down here...i dunno how they going to connect from the street to my house when i concrete the front and back yard, every cable is connected underneath the house, dont even have a power pole on the street

previous landlord vendor had cable tv with a satellite on the roof, i read u can now get cable internet from cabletv providers running running the same equipment, gotto check that up...might upgrade then wait for the rollout for 110mb connection ....

how fast can cable docsis3.1 achieved?
Damn your upload speed is atrocious.. Forget about playing competetive shooters

To be fair 50 was the highest in Texas about a year ago. New York area should be upgraded by summer 2017.
Bro stop pushing your TWC propaganda around here.. I had faster speeds with Grande on their lower tier 2 years ago..

I had to call your boys at Spectrum and punk them into giving me a better deal based on the new pricing model.. I get the advertised 100 mbps down (its actually 120 though) 10 up for 45 bucks after tax.. Good deal tbh, especially since it means avoidong AT&T

A little over $60 a month for TWC and their horrible customer service here. I pay too much, tbh.

Pretty sad my home AT&T "fiber" internet is faster than our Google fiber servers, well at least today it is.

I just ditched piece of Time Warner for ATT Fiber. I was paying about $67 for 100mbs. For $70 this is what I get through ATT fiber. And this is going through my wifi AC router, not even connected straight to the Fiber modem.

Yes sir! Just bought me a couple of HP Envy's with some nice specs. I typically would build my own box but I'm to the point where I don't give a to do that anymore. I got great value for the hardware at Best Buy. So I get over 235mbs down on wifi alone. I connected it to the WIFI router just to see what I could get wired through a 1GB nic and got over 700mbs down. I'm too lazy to connect the cat5 directly to the Fiber modem or it might hit closer to 1gbs. I think there was another Fiber thread about a year ago and several of us were discussing when Fiber would hit SA. I got a flyer in the mail for ATT fiber about a week ago and called then switched in no time flat. Now Time warner is butt hurt as and trying to charge me for hardware I don't even have. The streaming and just the overall quickness that my browser flips pages like flowing water is amazing!

It's the new Gigabit lines they're installing.. is up to 1 GB per second.. The speeds sound nice as , but I can't with caps unless they set that bar to a place I couldn't hit. I'm trying to ditch DirecTV so I'd have to pay like 30 bucks more for unlimited, that

I don't have a cap. Just checked my bill and it says unlimited. I wouldn't accept terms with an isp if I had a cap because what's the point then.

If you just got it they have some promotion advertising no cap.. If not, do you have cell/landline or TV w/ them?

Looks like this is you right here.. after that promotional period ends your bill is going up at least 30 bucks for the data, and whatever they charge for the equipment, assuming you don't use your own

Ive had Directv for 10+ years. Maybe they're considering that a bundle?

On a side note, it's funny to me how Google launched their plans on making affordable fiber networks a reality in several markets (including SA), and everyone else beats em to the punch

Yeah, so you're good even after the 1 year period as long as you keep it.. Even though I subscribe to DirecTV, I don't plan on it after my contract ends in March because SlingTV now gives me access to the majority of the Spurs games

Dude you need to call and haggle with them if you want better prices. I called and threatened to leave and now I pay $79 for the choice extra package. My total for fiber and choice extra tv is $155. My bill used to be well over $260 a month.

Bro, I save a ton of money per month because I take the time to complain. I have promotions on top of promotions

Not to mention every restaurant I visit is basically 2 for 1 because I complain nearly every time via their online complaint systems.. Constantly getting gift cards in the mail

And yeah, pricing isn't the issue w/ DirecTV.. I mean it's overpriced as , but I'm sure it's worth it to somebody who watches a ton of on TV.. I just don't find myself watching anything other than Spurs and Cowboys on TV, the Exodus plugin on Kodi TV has everything I need at the moment.

Yep, did the same for our's. Threatened AT&T and they hooked it up with multi-year price locked Gigabit service and and uVerse (w/ HBO) for $143/month. Once that deal is about to end I'll call up the retention line again!

Pretty much the same here, but I like having a consistent TV option for guests and family. Not everyone knows how to fire up the Kodi and go to town like we do.

Ive been doing the same with TW and Directv for years. I'm glad I only need to at one company now.
