That Hornet chokejob really hurts as we could have still had a realistic shot at 1 seed with both games against the Dubs being games to start your guys for with high stakes. Just a horrible, horrible loss that could end up defining the season if things don't go our way.

doubt it, Dubs would have had to lose another game and Spurs would still have had to win out. Main thing is that loss killed our 70 win opportunity but it's whatever.

Dubs play the Celtics in a few days and that's no gimme. They're trying to get home court in the first round. And the Dubs are still without Iguodola. They had a tough time with the Wizards last night. Playing at full strength and playing our A game, there's no reason to think we couldn't have won out in that scenario. Oh well...

So the Warriors are gonna go undefeated at home, get 73 on the Spurs HOME floor, while breaking the Spurs home game win streak and preventing them from going undefeated at home. Pop will then walk to half court after the game, feel up Kerr and tell him what a great job he's done chumming it up, go to the post game pressed gushing about how much he loves what the Warriors did.

It will be overshadowed by the Warriors home winning streak

I can get why people might be upset at Pop resting, but if any fans should know about this, it's Spurs fans. Should not be a surprise at all.

Also, if/when SA makes a nice PO run, people won't remember this and will appreciate what Pop did. His job is to win games not please fans. Them winning a lot does please fans and it's really hard to argue with the results.

Who wants the Warriors to have 41-0 all to themselves?

Yes it is; it's in Oracle. Next

(It's possible they lose in Utah tonight though, B2B & Delta Center is tough and they've been streaking lately)

    Doesn't matter.

Patty, Simmons, KA, West and Boban will get the job done.
    It's only GSW

Everyone saying to only rest players on the road must be from San Antonio. Because out of state fans sometimes travel hours on end to see the Spurs and if Pop sits them it sucks because depending on the city Spurs only come once a year. Why are hometown fans more valuable then out of state ones?

Season tix, our tax dollars toward the stadium... Need I go on???

If they win out they will get 73 against us on their floor even though we'll be resting everyone. I can totally see Pop gushing though. Pop loves his "it's just basketball" shtick unless it's the team that just waxed us.
