Not sure playing a D-LEAGUE Memphis team is good thing in terms of preparation to a Thunder/Warriors combo, tbf.. i would rather take on one of Dallas/Hou/Utah with the hazard of playing an extra game in the series than sleepwalk through a laughably ty compe ion that's maybe a bottom 4 West team at this point...Lakers'13 team look like a stacked contender compared to this Grizz team..

The last game aginst Dallas has a Pop in a conundrum..quite honestly, none of BiG 3 + Kawhi/LMA should make the trip to face Zaza 'thug' Pachulia and Mavericks playing their playoff lives..but handing a W to Dallas that nudges them through to face Goden State (likely to get massacred) at the expense Utah that you played against with full roster and handed an L isn't fair-- especially doing it to an acquaintance with distant Spurs ties like Quin Snyder..i hope it doesn't come down to that game..

Crockets about to miss the playoffs after losing to a JJ Barea led team.

Pray for the Jazz to stay at 8th or move up to 6th, cool w/ either the Mavs or Grizz in the 1st rd.

(Mavs control their destiny b/c they play BOTH the Jazz/Grizz & the Jazz have the easiest schedule)

Mavs won tonight, but the next 4 games are really tough. they could end up 9th.

hmm, dunno, Jazz? crazy tight all the last 4 games for Mavs, Rox, Jazz.

Mavs play Jazz in Utah on Monday. Last game against Spurs is probably a W.
I for one hope the Mavs are Spurs first round opponent. We match up well and I don't know if Mavericks have the offensive firepower to get past Spurs. Defensively, we have Aldridge and Kawhi to stop Nowitzki and Matthews and I don't think any other Mavs player can contribute enough to get past us.

Dumbass, Dirk has been ABSOLUTELY trash during their current winning streak & Matthews is shooting 39% for the season.

If you weren't talking out of your ass you would know one player has been CARRYING the team, namely player of the week JJ Barea.

Like i said. I'll tske the Mavs as a first round opponent. Player of the week Barea is not leading Mavs last Spurs. Even if he does have a newborn.

Yeah because you would have set two weeks ago that the key to stopping Mavs was stopping Barea. Casual fans are reactionary.

    I'd like to see...
Warriors get Utah who won't beat them, but should at least force their starters to play decent minutes to earn it.
Spurs get Dallas who are always a good playoff fluffer in the first round.
OKC get Memphis because it could go two ways, OKC is over confident at the end of the series or the Grizz grit and grind inflicts some damage.
Clippers get Blazers because either would push Warriors more than other alternatives.
Finally... Rockets season ends April 16th and hopefully they self destruct even further.

I've been saying Dirk is trash since 2011 when Barea/Jason Terry were carrying him in Gm 6 of the Finals.

My god. I was so so wrong. What a terrible team. They have the talent but have no leadership. They just fell apart this year. Okay, looks like the Jazz vs Mavs game will decide who we play. Winner gets us.

After Memphis loss last night, they are our most likely 1st round match-up according to ESPN BPI projection system.

Not sure I'd trust a table that says we have <0.1% chances of meeting the Warriors in the first round
