1. Game 6 of the 2011 WS. Rangers had consecutive 99% favorite situations that they blew in the 9th and 10th innings.
2. 18-1 Pats.
3. Yankees blowing a 3-0 lead, 2004 NLCS.
4. Warriors blowing a 3-1 lead. 73-9, two closeout games on their home court, league MVP on their team.
5. 6
I don't rank this as a memorable choke (even though it was a great game) because unless you've only started watching football last year, you just knew at some point Brady and the Pats were going to make a run. Pats were favored coming in, have the consensus GOAT QB and Coach, and unmatched post-season experience. A great choke typically involves the (heavy) favorites uncharacteristically melting down in some fashion. If you asked anyone before the game if a 25 point 3rd quarter lead against Tom Brady is safe, almost everyone would say no, especially if the team leading is the Atlanta Falcons. Conversely, if you asked fans before Game 6 of the 2013 Finals if a 5 point lead with 28 seconds left is safe for a Popovich/Duncan Spurs team who've never lost a Finals, most people would say yes, even with Lebron on the other team (who was known as something of a choker then).
