I guess one can hope. He did play against the Cavs in a moment of kind of desperation, but that was RS. He got in the doghouse with Pop for whatever reason and it doesn't seem like there is an end.

dantoni needs to insist to harden that his passing is what puts the spurs in the toughest place.

2 years ago Kawhi was making beautiful passes to Tiago. Now he has a bum big that doesn't do but dribble once and stop the ball when he catches it.

Tiagoooo.. why did he have to be so brittle? LOok at him dribbling in one sketch and posting up drawing a foul.. that wasn't even a strength of his and it looked better than Aldridge... wow...
Another underrated thing about Tiago: he moved well without the ball. He had a good sense of timing on plays, he was agile for how big he was. Damn... this Spurs team is another thing entirely.. I can't say it's due to Kiwi... He actually scratched his post game though he's great at it to emphasize playing in the perimeter bc Spurs need that from him.
I can't say what Lamarcus has done to his game to adapt...

He had surgery and took a year off. I'd give him the minimum this summer. At the minimum he could give some guidance to Dedmon. Plus I'd prefer to not sign Patty so bringing in Tiago is maintaining Spurs culture.

I think Bertans might be a better fit honestly. With Green/LMA struggling shooting, adding a non shooter might not be ideal.
