Maybe that number he had in mind is a number for the Spurs to retain him. I mean, maybe he wants to stay and if other teams offer more than the number he has in mind, he'll take a little less and stay with the Spurs if they meet that number he's happy with? or do you think that number is a minimum for any team?

No... my take is his agent studied the market for a guy with his skills and they have a minimum they won't budge from. Maybe he can het more and at that point he'll reconsider... or not get as much as he wants elsewhere and settle for Spurs offer which is not as high as he's asking for or they would have a deal agreed upon with just the formality to be ironed out.

I have been on record saying I wouldn't overpay for him already, but truth is I don't know what's been thrown around.... at least 50% of the chance said he'd be gone. But these SAExpress News guys don't know anything lol
