The patented Kobe Bryant Adam's apple punch while shooting?
That'll teach Zaza.

IF you go back to the Memphis game 4 you'll see that Gasol closed out on Kawhi almost the same way Zaza did, and KL almost got injured there too. Some of that is due to how KL lands, feet uneven and such, so all weight is on one foot when he lands. Bigs closing out on 3pt shooters is problematic for the league, but it happens because of ball movement. The Spurs want the bigs closing out, they just don't want the consequences.
I don't think you can learn that. Only a hand full of players have that vision mixed with the ability to place the ball where it needs to be.
Kawhis not going to pass like Manu but he can make the simple pass. Timmy was good at that and I wouldnt put it past Kawhi to make passing the next evolution of his game.
He leads by example and you feel like a fool if you dont contribute. Its like the silent treatment....that never stops.
Hocus Pocus, make Parker go away
According my Honduran friend, Manu added 2 turnovers to his arsenal
I hope his ankle is strong and not at 90%
Increasing apg like he did in last playoffs could be nice...But I just want he can repeat the level of season he had in 2016-17 it'll be hard but I wouldn't bet against him.
About Kawhi matching other MVPs seasons
With Murray in LA with him he could have worked on the spacing and movement the Spurs use. He hasn't had the precognition of where players move to when they space the floor like Manu and Tony have displayed over the years. All too often he is looking around to find someone to pass to as opposed to already knowing where to go based on where the help is coming from and the defense he is up against.
That is the area where he could see the greatest improvement.
