The chats are for people who want to talk about stuff going on during the game, which is cool, but there is also the Game Blog. Some people might say why do the Blogs when you can chat? Each has its own purpose.
The Blogs are particularly helpful to those people who cannot see the games and/or not able to be online when the game is going on, i.e. those living outside the USA. People in Slovenia or the Phillipines or Singapore or New Zealand may be asleep when the game is going on. The next morning they may want to see Spurs fans' perspective in a game log setting of what went on and who looked good or bad. These Blogs can be fairly timeless and give a decent idea of how games were won or lost...with a different viewpoint and desciptiveness than going to cbssportsline or nba.com and looking at the play-by-play logs.

Okay, so I'm going to shut up now because I just checked and they did start at 6:30 and they're on now. It's been a long day... I need a beer.
