You did not provide a link to any consistent series nor a series that provided median household income stats for other metro areas.
What you did provide are two numbers from two points in time. There was nothing to indicate if those numbers came from the same series nor how those numbers compared to other markets.

As for the "series", you provided two numbers without any indication that they came from the same series. That is significant because if you want to compare those 2 numbers across time, it does matter that they came from the same series.
