Exposes?
What's the probability they had the same fantasies gun owners here express?
If they had these supposed fantasies, is it a good thing they shot themselves?
What fantasies do you have regarding your gun? Be specific.
I imagine it's difficult to survey them after they committed suicide.
I wouldn't see it as bad or good.If they had these supposed fantasies, is it a good thing they shot themselves?
None.
You just posted one of yours.
You made the assertion about their fantasies. You should therefore have that data already.
Then why is it being discussed?I wouldn't see it as bad or good.
I used the words "probably" and "some" precisely because that data is unavailable for the reasons I stated.
Someone has to see something as good or bad to discuss it?Then why is it being discussed?
Tell me all about your rules for conversation -- be specific.
You said gun owners have fantasies. Since that's news to me, I was hoping you could enlighten me since you're a gun owner.
I can see you've once again painted yourself into an epistemological corner.![]()
Gun ownership: Good or bad

Had I said "all gun owners everywhere" you might have a point. You just posted one of your fantasies, so I don't see how it's new to you at all.
I can see you posted your fantasy where your whole family dies.I can see you've once again painted yourself into an epistemological corner.![]()

You didn't answer the question:
Someone has to see something as good or bad to discuss it?
Tell me all about your rules for conversation -- be specific.
Do you feel you’ve lowered your chances of committing suicide by storing your gun in another home?
Dunno tbh. It's fun watching you guys get defensive about guns though.
I've never needed a gun. And chances are if ya stay off the streets after midnight, don't go into obvious lowrent places, you won't need one either.
When you chose to store your gun outside your home was ease of suicide a contributing factor?
Nope.
You're worked up about it so it stands to reason you find it one or the other. Rational people don't get worked up over things they feel neutral about.
After the fantasy you posted, no one could be as worked up as you.
Like bars in Olongapo?
Are you simmering down?
Guns, good or bad?
Suicide, good or bad?
What is the insurance rate increase per gun owned in the state of Texas?
As I stated in the edit -- no one could be as worked up about this as you are right now.
Why did you choose to ignore the suicide statistics?
Because that decision was made before I knew anything of those kinds of statistics. Couldn't tell you if it would've affected my decision back then.
When were they first publicized, TSA?
