They shouldn't, but they're OKC. Memphis probably wants to lose at all costs; if that weren't an issue, I would actually expect the Grizz to win.
They do. A loss guarantees them the second-worst record outright, while a win could allow Atlanta to tie them for that dubious distinction.

Oh, and Memphis is sitting half their damn team.

Marc Gasol (rest), JaMychal Green (shoulder), Andrew Harrison (wrist) and Tyreke Evans (personal) will not play Wednesday vs. the Thunder.

Mike Conley (heel), Jarell Martin (ankle), Wayne Selden (knee) and Chandler Parsons (knees) will join these guys on the sidelines on Wednesday, leaving the Grizzlies with just nine healthy players for tomorrow's game.

Spurs have mostly struggled in New Orleans the past 3 years, even when they were a good road team..now that they're a terrible road team and knowing how strange this season has been, maybe they actually pull it off tonight?

Sigh. If the Spurs are a 7/8 seed, will they win a game?

7 seed is fine. May as well battle the Warriors first round. If we shock 'em somehow that would make this whole horrible season worthwhile.

If we knocked off the Warriors I believe there's a chance we could win it all... like 1/1,000,000 lol Cause the Rockets are gonna choke these playoffs.. it's just a matter of time, either that or Chris Paul gets injured. No bad juju it just happens. The only two teams the Spurs can't beat are Houston and GS realistically. Everyone else and they have a punchers chance. Maybe I'm crazy but yeah. I don't have hope for it but I wouldn't be surprised either. Crazy ass year.

Yeah, if the Spurs beat GS, then they have every chance they could hope for against teams like Portland and Minny the second round. Even assuming the Rockets are going to make it to the WCF is stretching it. They're a Paul injury away from a team like OKC or Utah taking their cookie in the semis. In the unlikely Finals, I don't think there's any team the Spurs couldn't beat. A Sixers team that has figured everything out is the only one, given how small Toronto seems to play in the post-season.

Why would someone be worried about the Raptors. Those losers will probably be gone after the first round.

Pelicans have been killing teams in the 1st quarter during their hot stretch, they've been taking teams out early..Spurs need to have a strong 1st(fortunately, they've had big leads early before their usual road meltdowns )

Spurs have six more Road losses than any other Western Conference playoff team

Tonight would be a good night to reverse that tendency

Ugly offensive start even with some missed good opportunities. But fell asleep on defense already a few times too. Not a crisp start. Not awful, just not really focused.

I don't like this timeout by Pop. The team doesn't need an adjustment.
