I won $1600 on the Blazers MoneyLine last night
You bet on Summer League games?!

    Brother, you may be addicted.
Did you bet on the Home Run derby too?
    MLB all star game?

If healthy, Kawhi could seriously take that Raptors team to the NBA finals. Not easy to leave a team the season right after getting to the finals, tbh. Much less when you have 220 millions extra motives to stay put.
That $20 Million ship has sailed its I think it's 4 for 140 vs 5 for 180 or something like that .... and IF we want Kawhi ( i think we should have concerns) The taxes in Canada are even worse thant the CA state income tax.

Betting on sports beats the of wasting money on the casino though. If you are Smart, you can actually make some money of sports betting.

I don't get offended over anything, but I'm getting close when Lakers fans have the audacity to mention Ingram, Kuzma and some named Hart as some type of intriguing combination of players
That combo is way better than Derozan. You just got a poor man’s Kobe

yeah, this is probably the smartest move by maginka to date. im actually surprised they resist the urge to gut the roster to bring 2 superstars this summer which is a very Lakers move. that shows you they (including lebron) truly believe the kids upside is worth keeping and if it’s not enough they ‘ll have a max cap space next season to entice anorher all star.

lakers are beating the spurs at their own game. smart FA decisions (1 yr deals) and finding solid picks in late rounds.
On a similar note, I'm glad the Clippers didn't freak out and make a panic move because of LeBron going to the Lakers. Trading everything for Kawhi would have made no sense with the risks involved and how difficult it would have been to build a real team around him. We should just let Shai and Jerome develop and maintain our cap space for 2019 and beyond.

Kiwi got a choice to make next summer: Logo or Magic. Who does he pick tbh?

He most likely will pick Lakers.
But his health and this fiasco makes me wonder if we should hope he pick Clippers instead.
I want him waaaaay more than I wanted PG13 who I never wanted after he broke his leg ...at least at that max price.
But even if you want to laugh at spurfan this fiasco and his injury has to make you wonder about KL as a franchise pillar.

Right now I still want him but my interest has dropped considerably.
He should have just played the year out and walked next July.

Agreed. I think him getting traded to Toronto is a blessing in disguise. He gets to show that he's still a top 5 player and rebuild his reputation. I highly doubt he stays. He is an option for the Lakers but not the end all (if he's not the player he was, the 2019 class is loaded).

I actually would love to poach Klay. Not as good a defender as Kiwi (he's no slouch tho) but he's a lights out shooter. Plus that breaks up the splash brothers. Nice death lineup to close quarters and games:

    Lonzo
    Klay
    BI
    Kuz
    LBJ

how come ever since the trade announcement, pos has been silent? waiting for his mouthpiece to deliver some more bs to release so he can sabotage the trade?

you could be right but if he plays THAT well Toronto will be a legit threat to Boston and tehn maybe he will want to stay.
    Who knows?
But I may be proven wrong but Im in the we HAVE to develop/groom Ingram camp.
IF he doesnt develop it wont matter if we have Kawhi or not.
And if he is not good enough we need to flip him before his value goes down.
Everyone pointing at a big summer for Lonzo but my eyes are squarely on BI.

ANd this will be Lebron's best chance to mold a "pippen" like #2.
Kyrie, Bosh, Love and wade were pretty much self-made.
IF Lebron can develop BI in to a poor man's Pippen that would further his GOAT case especially if rings in LA.
Ingram is they key to contention.
HE shows that and they add another star and we are legit contenders.
Right now we are just a darkhorse longshot and that is because of Lebron we need to be better than that.

I'm good with it. Spurs about to pay $27.7 million dollars for an MLE type player, while my Lakers have the best player in the world. Think about that shiiiiiiiiiiiiit!
...And, it still won't be enough to beat the almighty Warriors no matter who you get in the next couple of years to pair with LeBron.
