I hope he snaps his achilles next season and then snaps his other one the year after.
He is the biggest bas in Spurs history.

Obviously how this all played out sucked, but I don't wish ill will on Kawhi. However, I also don't want his jersey in the rafters.

So, thanks for 2014, Kawhi. I think you are going end up regretting the sequence of events over the entire last year.
This is totally on Kawhi - he could have had everything in San Antonio - it really makes no sense that he's going to TORONTO!!!!

I kind of feel bad for the people of Toronto. They are devastated to have lost Derozan. What will even suck more for them is when Leonard goes into mute, mode again and decides to fake like he’s hurt and miss half the season. What a wuss he turned out to be.

Worst thing is Toronto is an amazing city. They don't deserve the gotry they're going to have to deal with from Leonard in his Lakers audition year.

This has been one of strangest things to happen in my entire life. It’s beginning to sink in that Kawhi will never be silver and black again. No one could have scripted this crazy crap

So who's writing the Comic Sans letter, tbh?
    Spurs fans,

Dear, loyal fans. Today we say goodbye to a player who had minimal skills at best when he joined but left with the idea that he's a superstar - a superstar who sat out an entire season, collected a huge paycheck and then set out to screw the organization that cultivated him from the dirt in which he grew in California. Yes it's true, Kawhi was a talent and a rapid learner. He came in shooting less than stellar from the 3 point line, but became a legitimate threat from there. He was a shaky freethrow shooter as we saw in game 6 of the 2013 NBA Finals, but became one of the best in the league at it in such a short time. He only worked with Kobe for a minimal amount of time, maybe even just a phone call or a glance, however he learned how to sit out entire seasons and yet screw the franchise at the same time and demand more than he's actually worth. There's a reason no other team wanted to commit a high salary for many years to him.

Some of you might think, and it's been mentioned here in certain circles that have now moved East (I won't say any nom de plumes) that Kawhi Leonard is a high functioning Autistic. I'm not here to discuss that and it would never be part of our conversation here in San Antonio, we are a classy organization.

We will move on from this brief blip on our 20 year trajectory. We will be stronger for having gone through it. We certainly wish Kawhi well. We also wish the Toronto Raptors well. In fact, we wish them the success they had last season where they finished atop the East. At the same time though, we are excited to move foward with the group of young players, and Manu. So we hope you continue to root for the Spurs, and if you bought a Kawhi Leonard jersey or any gear with Kawhi's name or number in the past year, you should be able to still wear it around the house.

Danny Green will be missed. He was one Kawhi Leonard free throw from having a Finals MVP. That illustrates how unstable that award really is, how fluky, I suppose. At least since around 2012 or so. Gary Neal could have won it. Imagine that.

Not true. Duncan would have won FMVP. There was an ESPN article on the actual voting.
