They also need another mobile big. I can see this as a sign they want to give Metu a shot. That, or some random Euro we’ve never heard of.

Why are people acting like this affects the Spurs perimeter defense or like he had defensive potential?

He's like 6'1" and he was basically the wing version of Bonner on defense. All he did was put his hands straight up just like Bonner.

He demonstrated just how much every inch matters.

He played d-league same year as Simmons and if you only watched those highlights then some people could be fooled into thinking he was on par athletically, he was dunking like Simmons all over guys.

But once the compe ion scaled up in size, length, and quickness he became a below the rim player. Even in Europe he couldn't explode at the rim.

But that 2 inches and greater burst is why Simmons' career earnings will be well over $10 million or even $20 million and Paul might be stuck under $2 million.

Smart; though I wish BP3 success wherever he goes. He seemed like a good dude.

The key to Pop’s heart is having a child custody issue. Brandon Paul missed the boat and the ship has sailed now. Dejounte and Bryn came up with the goods.

He wasnt a NBA player imo.

Had decent games at beginning of the year, then faded quickly into thin air.

Give the roster spot to a bigger wing/spread with upside/room to grow like Blossomgame.

BP3 waived and Pinoy Marauder pinked in the same day? Seems this offseason wasn't a total bust after all.

So, is there any non-prospect tall wing that we can sign, or will we just need to sign Blossomgame?

B...b...b...but he had the POTENTIAL to MAYBE be a DECENT defender for a 6'4 guy!!

    Good riddance, tbh.

I'd rather they have kept Paul and cut Forbes.

Bryn and Pop's crush on him is gonna up so much on this team next season, it's almost comical tbh

Agreed 100%. Paul never got even close to a sniff of a chance last season when he was a far superior defender.

Not re-signing Simmons, even at 6 million per, was the right call. He's a volume scorer, who can't shoot & is a below average defender. He could never even string any sort of consistent play together here in 2 seasons. People were enamoured with his athleticism.
