Tip Off Luncheon Today

Sounds like everyone had a GREAT time. Too bad the Spurs Foundation doesn't tape the festivities... if they did, maybe they could put it on San Antonio on Demand and charge $2.00 - $3.00 to go to the charity. I'll bet LOTS of people who can't afford to do the luncheon at $100/person would pay a small fee to see all the fun from the comfort of home. They could even include some B Roll of interviews with fans who attended. Oh, well... maybe next year?

When I saw the TV guys setting up on a platform at the back of the room (see one of my pics above), it gave me the idea of filming the whole thing. And I bet eachof those TV guys taped it completely. Into their video archives never to be seen again. Only about an hour or so of taping. I bet a couple a 1 GB CF modules could hold the whole show in DV on a prosumer camera.

I got plans for next October.
