2005 was the year that we wanted to start trying to have a baby but I've been sick. I had a bad thyroid problem that caused me to have liver problems and other hormonal stuff. So I wasn't allowed to try to conceive because it would have been dangerous for me and the baby. The thryoid thing is now under control and all my blood levels etc have returned to normal. BUT, I have an ovarian cyst. It's supposedly not that big of deal. I underwent to the hospital and had some painful tests etc in December. I'm on medication for 2 months (which will be done in 2 weeks) and its supposed to make it go away. If it does then we can start to try to get pregnant. If it doesn't, I will have to have surgery before I can try.

We want to have a couple kids of our own PLUS adopt a couple kids -- so if that's going to make the forum go down, then Oh WELL.
