    I dunno about "saved their season"...they were still probably the favorites to make the ECF as long as Kawhi was playing.

    What it does do, though...is give them a legitimate chance to challenge GSW if they make the Finals.

    Warriors will still win, but it won't be no cakewalk. Toronto has the defense to slow them down, and Gasol would be a very tough cover for them.

    Looking back, it's clear the primary dispute between Leonard and the front office stemmed from the supermax. Kawhi wanted it and the Spurs didn't want to give it without assurances he was healthy.

    Now that we know he's healthy, we know the front office should've kept Leonard and signed him to the supermax in the summer.

    He refuses to play back to backs and has missed over a dozen games already. That's NOT worth the supermax, tbh. him.
