They’re calling this the Spurs’ “JR Smith” moment... *facepalm*
Except the Spurs had two JR Smiths on that possession.

I guess that what happens when you have depressed player making 30 mil..and a diva who’s vigina lacks teeth.
What a bitter loss. I'd be fine with them getting beat by a better Denver team but to just say it Cancun with 27 seconds left down only 4 is unforgivable. Blow the ing team up after that.

Stop being so melodramatic. Look at the clip above your post. LaMarcus had his back turned and didn't hear Pop to foul.

Crazy happens. Gotta let the loss go, move on to the offseason and NBA draft.

Team played its ass off but it wasn't enough, sadly.

We werent gonna win anyways. Yes it is frustrating as to watch the season melt away. But not scoring down 4 was the dagger.

I think this is where I'm at right now. I don't want to blow up the whole team though. I actually like what we have as far as the youth goes.

I will say Forbes was ing awesome tonight. What a turnaround for that guy.
Patty and/or Belinelli need to go. I seriously doubt Pop would be willing to move Patty if the end of game 7 (and his rotation choices) is any indication.

Would not have mattered at all. Overall it was a very good series. I’m proud of the way they played. They had plenty of reasons to pack it in tonight. They didn’t do it and fought back.. So great job.

This forum is full of clueless morons. Of course LA didnt ignore Pop. The players were low IQ to not know to foul on their own. Im proud of the effort. Disappointed with the shooting. We werent winning it this year anyways. Wouldve gotten shredded by Golden State for the 3rd straight year.

Hats off to Patty what he gave during the championship run, but he has proven to be a liability on the court the last two years. The whole game tonight he couldn't defend the pick and roll, and that brain fart at the end is inexcusable. He needs to go.

It’s been done before but at the end of the day we all understand how hard it is to win a game 7 on the road. It’s one of the most difficult things to do in sports.

DeRozan getting blocked with 27 seconds left wasn't a good reason to pack it in.

They are down 4 with under 30 seconds to play and don’t have possession. They were not winning the game.

Denver was gifted the game. They are very fortunate.

You don't know that. Denver was choking that quarter and could have started missing free throws or turned the ball over on inbounds passes. Spurs could hit some lucky threes. Unlikely to win there but that doesn't mean you just give up.

I just think it'd be hilarious if this was Pop's last game and it ended with his team quitting on him

Same, did you see LMA's response? He said he knew time left on clock and just didn't foul and that's all that needs to be said lol

Pop didn't start saying anything 'til 17 seconds. But the rest of the team should be much smarter. This is basic math, tbh.

The 3 guys on the back are yelling to LMA and Patty to foul. Patty even looks at Pop. You gotta be more awake on a game 7, coach shouldn’t even have to tell you to foul

Pop wasn't telling them to foul. The motion he was giving was for Aldridge to pressure the ballhandler. Intentional foul is a different motion.

But, yeah, OBVIOUSLY you have to foul there. I can understand Pop or a player not understanding the situation but not one got damn person on the coaching staff was motioning for an intentional foul? Not one player knew the Spurs needed to foul? Of course, Patty Mills -- the worst point guard in terms of time management I've ever seen in my life -- was totally clueless per usual but how did nobody know that the Spurs needed to foul?

    :pcotss

BTW, Pop had a word with Forbes when the game ended about not going out there and fouling
