He gave me the pictures to keep it was cool looking.
How long before I can play golf, CC?
He just didn't want you watching. When you actually get to see them you understand why your knee is so damn sore the next day...
Those scope things look kind of like ice picks. My orthopod gets those suckers in my knee and then focuses on the screen. His hands are going on those things like a sugar loaded 10 year old with a video game controller in each hand...no wonder they hurt so much the same day...

I would think the swelling/stiffness should be completely gone in two weeks if you are doing all your rebab exercises...then you just have to be careful on your footing not to stumble and tweak it.
The rehab exercises seem stupid but they really can make a difference on the final results...
Thanks, I have a tournament in 2 wks that I want to play in.
I am going to rehab the crap out of my knee so I can play in it.
Of course as to the question of when you will be able to play golf...that's up to you...![]()
My advice would be to not increase the recommended reps but it doesn't hurt to increase the sets as long as you rest between...are you doing weights or bands?
It's been awhile for Jim, so he may want to know how to prolong this time . . .
I have not started anything yet, the rehab center has not called me yet. I am just doing a leg lift straight out and holding for 10 secs and slowly lowering it.
holy ...your doctor really IS an antique...
My orthopod is the top sports knee guy in SA...and he won't even let you go home without meeting with the rehab people...it's just part of his procedure...he has the appt. set up when he schedules the surgery...and you start the rebab exercises the same day of the surgery...the first few days are really critical on regaining flexibility...

Hey Jim, happy to hear you got thru being a "cut up" now for the really serious stuff, when will you be able to chase the golf's again?
No way...the first day, you need ice and elevation.
Plus I was so out of it, there was no way that I go anywhere that day.
Thanks Hal...hopefully soon.
Have you received a Get Well card from Duff yet?
No, the bas .
BTW tlong, thanks for that bottle of wine that you sent...that was nice....a very nice vintage, I might add.
Jim, work hard during your rehab.
Draft is in April but combine in Feb '06.
I worked hard & had my 4.4 speed back in 3 months. In the 20yd dash that is.
I expect to have my 18 inch vertical back soon enough too.
