Yup, his 2 sons, his mom, Duncan being his favorite player, Spurs being a winning franchise, him being from Texas and playing for the Long Horns all was a factor I think

Charles Barkley. Lots of rumors when he was with Philly that the spurs were trying to trade for him. We would’ve ring’d A few times with him and D Rob in their primes.

That trade was pretty much a done deal until Red McCombs blocked it at the last minute.
