Fury is a master at playing head games. If Ruiz lost, Fury would have said well he didn't follow his game plan and blah blah blah.

Joshua had Ruiz beat, just got caught with a desperation shot by Ruiz that messed up his equilibrium. Ruiz was about to get hurt majorly because he didn't care, his mentally was "if I go down, I'll go down swinging".
