Why are we that worried? Parker and Van Excel are capable of playing together...I like a small lineup with them sharing time occasionally.
I tried to check all the threads before asking but do we know how long Finley will miss yet? Or do we know when he did this? Last game or practice maybe?

It might be a 10 day contract so no big deal.
Is Melvin with the Spurs today?
yippee, we signed a career CBA player.
Oh the joy.
Another signing was inevitable. Sanders gets another chance -- make it count.
You mean, the Spurs didn't bring him back cause he wasn't good enough??
Impossible, your supposed to keep every player you sign!!!!
Who did you want to sign them today?
Or did you just want them to overwork Manu and Bruce?
overwork Bruce.
Hes been slacking it......
Comeon, someones gotta play the pessimist here Kori since Sequ and Walton and other sunshine people aren't in here.
I'm just not sure why you are down on them signing Sanders. He's a player that they are high on and would have kept if they weren't over the luxury tax. Now they are forced to have him because our swingmen are old and injured.
Well im not TOTALLY high on him, cause hes a dime a dozen player.
Theron Smith.
I like him too. Yet, i'm being rediculed and laughed at in other Spurs forums, not this one. I'm sad...
He's a very good defender already. So not quite a dime a dozen player.
But I still think he's too short to be a long term answer.
Linton Johnson the third
Theres alot of good defensive forwards but horrible shooters.
Sanders fills that mode.
Oh well, he wont be around long.
I wouldn't pay the luxury tax either.
Luxury tax for teams with low TV Income is horse .
Oh he's a much better shooter than LJIII. He has an ugly stroke, but he can still score if he has to.
is there any indication how long finley is out? day to day? more?
It was the right thing to do.
Spurs will likely waive the 14th man in december for Luxury tax purpose.
Sanders isn't maybe the more talented (even if it is to prove) but he has yhe big advantage to have made the whole training camp : he knows Spurs O and D.
Another player would be way less effective than him for this month.
How come spurs didnt sign that 6'11 williams guy who was in camp last season?
They mentioned that the spurs are the oldest team in the league on the wolves broadcast tonight. But don't let that worry you.
Sincerely,
'03-05' Timberwolves
Welcome back Melvin!
So we're 5 games into the season and the Spurs have lost half of their swingman rotation? Awesome.
But at least Holt et al are saving some $. That's what's important.
and the dead horse still hasn't made a peep, since it was dead long before being beaten.
