The Mavs are a "Michael Finley" from a championship.
You mean they are Michael Finley's missed shots in the playoffs from a championship.

Finley had some ugly shooting lines in the playoffs. Dallas is glad to get rid of his disappearing act.

as far as I can remember, Finley(w/ Van Exel), led a comeback against the Spurs Game 4 (or 5?), of the 2003 WC ungrateful Mav fan?

    sourgrapes?

Whatever you say, I am happy we landed Finley in the FA agency, and he can help us win games this season.

You'll see Finley in his last 2 playoffs played like crap. Maybe he had a good 2003 playoffs but ever since than was a disappearing act.

    he was not 100%, right?

he was injured. and his minutes were reduced.

look, Finley is not starting for the Spurs, just a backup, there's no cause for concern. We have Manu/Bowen

Yeah I don't see Finley being much of a factor to the spurs winning another championship. I don't see him being missed in Dallas either.

    you don't get it.

He's important to us, that's what I mean. But he's NOT the leading man. He's a star but he's not the one running the show.

You are giving Finley too much credit. He once was a star but heavy minutes have taken its toll on him. He might be a decent player coming off the bench but that's it.

That's the same statement we heard when the Admiral begun to show wear and tear in his last few seasons with the Spurs bec of bad back. But hold on to him and we won 2 les with him.

Speaking of Finley, what do u want me to say, we signed him for nothing? That the Heat, Detroit, Suns are idiots on running after his FA?

Whatever it is you have against Finley, let it go. If you think you won't miss a player who helped your team won 60 wins in 2003, so be it.

Just don't give me the idea that signing this player is actually a complete waste of our time. Unless of course if he is injured the rest of the season.

I saw Finley play the last 2 years and like the guy but there were times I wanted him to be benched because he was that bad. I thought Daniels could prove to be a better player than Finley in these last 2 years. I am not a fan of Christie starting and feel that Daniels is clearly better at this time. The only thing Finley can do now is hit 3's and post up. Even that he is very inconsistent in doing. He is breaking down but I hope he gets a le. That is the one player I like on San Antonio.

...don't worry Tim Duncan, Manu TP and the rest of the gang will see to it that he'll get a ring before he retires.

Next week is a preview of the 2006 NBA finals between the Pistons and the Mavs.

You guys are for real in the west and it will be a great game to see. Sheed :p vs Dirk ( be an all team 1st defender once he gets Aj's style of D down) will be the matchup of the decade.

How could you possibly take anyone seriously who posted something like that?

Like someone said the other day...I don't care if the Spurs go 50 and 32 during the regular season...as long as they win 16 in May and June.

Well, I'm glad to hear the playoffs are already decided. Can we have the trophy back now?
Sure. We'll let you know when we're done with it.

The Spurs are just consistent with their style of play. They have never been a dominant team but do put long win stretches of 8-10 games and then they'll lay an egg.

I guess we can blame it on Timmy's patches for the loss to the Wizards.

I guess you guys can stop with the repeat talk, you can't even get past the Wizards , and yet you want to be the 2006 NBA Champions?

I pray to GOD you at least make it to the Playoffs. I want to see another 32 point ass waxing by the Mighty Mighty Dallas Mavericks.

Face it! This team is nowhere near Playoff material. So before you talk bad about the Dallas maveicks look at your own team, It's in very serious trouble.

    can you hear us now?

you keep celebrating in november, we'll wait til June.

    Interesting pair here.

We've got Mouse, who is tied with Joe Wilson for the most discredited man in America, joined with his illiterate buddy, the Piston homer.

One team with no defense and one team with no offense. Neither team with the trophy. And then there's the Spurs, the Reigning World Champs who have both offense and defense.

Neither the rat nor the illiterate one understand basketball.

That's why they don't understand the difference between winning a 7 game playoff series and winning an individual game.

Mediocre teams like Alice, who don't really play defense and who rely a lot upon perimeter jumpshots, can get hot every once in a while and win an individual game by a lot. However, they can also go cold.

A team like San Antonio that has a great post player like Duncan is able to get higher percentage shots off beats a perimeter jumpshooting team the vast majority of the time. San Antonio also plays great defense.

That's why we're the champs and Alice is not.

yes you remember that when you have two!, not one!,, pair of
smack shoes inserted deep in your spurs loving ass,

We've got Mouse, who is tied with Joe Wilson for the most discredited man in America,
I am sure you can add to that list bucko, you left out Bush, Clinton, and the head of FEMA

joined with his illiterate buddy, the Piston homer.
Look brah you can say what you wish about me, But when you disrespect the 2004 NBA Champions your going to far, Where was your weak ass bandwagon johnny come lately ass when the Pistons were holding up the NBA, Championship trophy?

Dats right, your ass was at home watching the Bass Fishing channel just like every other NASCAR redneck,

    One team with no defense
The mavericks waxed your ass last time they played the Spurs, and the time before that? you lost to the Mavericks by 32 points, looks like a little defence to me , maybe you need to open a window when your using that very strong smelling glue to fix that Jeff Gordon NASCAR mug you smashed when he came in 16th in his last race, your going off the deep end brah,

and one team with no offense.

Pssssssssst! did you forget the Pistons just won a ring right before you did? how can they not have an offense? Now your going into meltdown mode, you better check your flux copassitor its not fluxing,

    Neither team with the trophy.
I am not sure if your NBA history is new, maybe your only one year in this NBA world, maybe you just joined after the Spurs won a ring, but.... if you can find a 2004 SI in your daddys restroom under the stained playgirl magazines with the stuck pages? you might want to see who is on the cover, The Pistons Brah,

pssssst! they have a ring, do you not know that?

And then there's the Spurs, the Reigning World Champs who have both offense and defense.
Funny they didn't have neither, when they got their ass waxed by the Mavericks.

yes you keep telling yourself that, what ever it takes to help you sleep at night. remember as you rock yourself to sleep on that tear stained pillow as you mumble we are the champions for 2 hours.

your going to have to face the Mavericks again so go ahead and get the shower rod ready
