    yes, I'm a homer, big game by Lamar, 20, 11, 5
If you don't mind me asking, how long have you been a Lakers fan? Lifelong?

I'll admit (in front of Spurs fans) that there was a point where I did like the Lakers. First, it was during the "Showtime" era, back when I was first exposed to Basketball (probably in the late 80s...I was like, 5 or so back then). My interest in all other teams, save for the Air Jordan-era Bulls, dropped when David Robinson began his career with the Spurs. My attention turned back to the Lakers when my then-second favorite NBA player, Shaq, signed with them, and I stopped liking the Lakers when the big Lakers/Spurs post-season rivalry began in 1999 (at least it was a big rivalry in the eyes of Spurs fans).

Then you'd be surprised at the success the Lakers have had even before Kobe.

The Showtime Lakers (aka, the Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabaar era of the Lakers), Jerry West, Wilt Chamberlain, and even WAY back in the old days of the Minneapolis Lakers, before they moved to LA, with the late George Mikan. Fourteen total NBA Championships, including the three-peat of 2000-2002, I believe it was?

25 points on 9 of 33 shooting. Yikes. That's sure getting 25 the hard way.

I hear ya. I just BARELY won mine. But a Spurs win is a Spurs win...the last vbookie I won was bittersweet, though. Spurs lost the game, even though I won my vbookie.

On 1/7 shooting, including 0 for 4 in the last 2 minutes when the game was on the line. Ouch.

Tough loss. The Lakers just aren't at the standard of play to be able to beat a quality team like the Spurs right now.

Wow, didn't think I'd actually get this one. Right when he got 25 with over a minute left, I thought well so much for that one.

OMFG! I was like "23 points by the start of the fourth...no way he's only scoring two."

And he only did! HAHA! CHA-CHING!
