Crazy thing is Mavs could add our top 5 best players and still be the least talented team in the NBA. Luka is that damn good and we are that damn bad.
There's no rivalry anymore and the Mavs have nothing the Spurs have to be jealous of. Now if they were winning les and knocking the Spurs out of the playoffs you would have a point but that's not happening.

I will say, the West is so bad this year, an utterly mediocre team like the Mavs could actually go deep like they did last year. Normally this level of a squad gets crushed before the WCF. Not now.
Dallas won't go deep. They'll probably end up in the play in. There is no way Luka plays like this all season long, and the supporting cast is mostly trash. January will already be a problem for them, as they face pretty much only 50%+ teams.
