It'll be northside, they want to get their teeth into the Austin market more. Somewhere between Windcrest and New Braunfels.

Retama Park over to Nacogdoches area actually makes a lot of sense.
Regional stadiums work for football but less so for basketball. I don't see many folks from Austin making 7:30 weeknight start times in Schertz with any regularity without something like high speed rail -- and with that it might as well be downtown.

I mean where in La Cantera would they even put it? They are building so many apartment complexes out there that a lot of the prime real estate is gone. But that side of town is the nice part of SA. It’s more upscale than anything else in the city.
I know Barkley s in the fat San Antonio women all the time but in the La Cantera/UTSA area are where all the fine girls are at. That was a nice perk about living over there. It’s got great shops and restaurants over there and you can make an actual night of it instead of the hole where the current arena is at. The only thing by the current arena is one ing Valero

I left San Antonio in 2019, but unless some crazy has happened, I know I didn’t just read that Live Oak is one of the nicer parts of town
    Northeast side in general

Compared to the near west side, near east side (where AT&T center is located), or anywhere south of downtown

This is just a practice facility. Not sure why there’s people discussing traffic. This will have no effect on traffic. Most of the team lives on the north side so it’d just be more convenient for them. San Antonio’s downtown infrastructure is pretty bad. The only way anything is ever built there is if the Dome gets demoed. SA is expanding towards New Braunfels and north. Those are probably the only areas where major venues will be built.

No matter where it is built traffic is going to suck in SA it is basically pick which poison ya want.
