His athleticism plus defensive energy and hustle are things Branham will never possess.

He had a few bone-headed mistakes leaving shooters open - but, TBH, so did everyone else in the first 3 quarters - yet his defensive tenacity was infectious.

The kid needs to see a lot more time now that the season is lost (Mitch should've found minutes for him throughout, IMO).
I think he’s def earned more run to end the season

Wesley is worth keeping around next season imo. Still feel like with an average NBA developmental staff he could turn into a nice player tbh.
his lack of playing time this year has been kinda jarring. he got some run when Tre was injured early in the year and thought he looked decent (considering they were playing weird 3 guard lineups with CP3/Wesley/Castle together)

unlike branham he has actually shown improvement since his rookie year. with Paul expiring, Tre gone, and McLaughlin an afterthought and also expiring he's worth hanging onto for sure

i was never really against picking up his 4th year option. its malaki that never made sense

Malaki makes sense as a trade throw-in imo. A team that can hide him defensively with an established system can make use of him. He might be another victim of the Spurs' poor developmental staff but he has far less physical tools to work with.

Ahhh I was hoping to at least see Minnix
Minnix is out for the season, that's actually when the tank began.
