My mistake. I meant the swap. Thanks for the clarification.
If trading the pick, I never thought about trading the swap. That would be cool if the Spurs traded the swap for the better of the SAS/BOS so they at least still get a pick.

They are kind of locked together. Boston agreed to swap with us in 2028, figuring a probable place in the standings for both teams. If it were legal to trade the swap to OKC, Boston would face a worst outcome scenario.
What you can do is divide the pie. Depending on what kind of a trade it,is, you can say the team you’re trading with gets the better pick, either unprotected, or with appropriate protection for the trade, 1-4, 1-6, 1-10, whatever.

I wish a reporter had come back with "is that cause #0 was taken?" Kornet seems like the type that would roll with that kind of thing.
Pretty ing awesome to have a center who is a third of timmy...
and
a coach who is a third of pop!
I just watched this interview with Luka earlier. Pretty cool interview. Says he spent some of his childhood as a Spurs fan, so it's great to be able to play for the team, but also especially at this current time as the Spurs have some great young talent with Victor, Fox, Castle and now with Dylan joining the team. He said with them being that young, there's some leaps that can be made throughout the course of the season. He seems pretty stoked to be able to play for the team, and just seems excited to help them figure out what works well and how to help them all excel. This guy's really smart.
They also asked him about barking on the court. Said he started doing that the past year when scraping, getting offensive rebounds, hustle plays and stuff to get the team going. lol. That should be funny/cool to see if he brings that to the Spurs.
Luke could be a lot bigger for the team than I thought. Stats definitely don't tell the whole story.
I think he's Catholic
Really like how when he talks about the young talent it doesn't include Team Friendship
May the Force be with us this season......
............................................
The Master Jedi will be a crucial component of our rotation
Really happy that the FO addressed this need........
Now this one gonna get you all excited...
The Jedi shall be the force of the bench......
Long live the Force! Lol
Mitch is not even 0.3 of Pop
c'mon man...
we gotta hope mitch will surprise the nba and make pop look like a genius!
There's no way a full season of Wemby and Kornet doesn't make this team top 5 on defense. The only fear I have (and it's from a YT video that I saw) is if Olynyk is Zach Collins 2.0.
Let's go back to the days when if you didn't play defense, your ass gets pulled out. (RIP Keldon)
All Defense
Wemby
Cornet
Sochan
Bryant
Castle
Harper
I'd love to see an Onion piece involving Tim Duncan and Luke Kornett. All the pieces are there.

Sure is nice to have a guy that can be a positive playing in the blocks. If Kornet and Wemby can stay healthy they should be an advantage over Chet and Hartenstein.
Game winning block bump
