I remember someone speculated that if we hadn't traded the 8th pick last year, we would've selected Knecht. I wonder if that's true.

There was no talent available at 8. But there were suddenly NBA players in the second round.
It's probably time to cut Vassell for David Jones-Garcia. Don't need that other scrub.
How close does DJG compare to summer-league Jonathon Simmons? Hopefully Harper can be that summer's Kyle Anderson and the Spurs can make another run.

No crowd at the game because it apparently was a "scouts only" day.

Good question! I am told the Warriors do not sell tickets to the weekday events of their version of the California Classic because it would cost more to open the building than the revenue they'd take in.
So today's two games were broadcast-only.
