Any horror flick is basically scratched from Mrs. Chopper's "must-see" list.

She does like action films though, which is great for me. And she loves all three Godfather movies, which I love too. In fact, when we were on our honeymoon there was a day that we were both a little under the weather so we stayed in our hotel room and watched all three Godfather's back-to-back-to-back.

Timvp mentioned "Cops". Mrs. Chopper won't watch that either. I like it because they used to do the show from Albuquerque it seemed almost every other week and I'd see a lot of police officers, and a few convicts, that I know. Our mayor quit letting them film from here though as he said it was painting a bad image of our city.

My girlfriend refuses to watch Adaptation. She hated Being John Malcovich so much, she will never watch another movie made by Charlie Kaufman.

The wife won't watch LOR or the Star Wars movies with me.
It is not fair since I sit through hours of LifeTime and OXY movies with her.
I never knew the 90210 and Saved By the Bell babes have made so many freakin' made for TV movies.

I bought that movie and still haven't watched it. I remember trying to, though.

I won't watch those either. I hate those kind of movies. I've yet to see a Harry Potter movie.

You're right about them ending up on Lifetime! Before them, it was Nancy McKeon (from Facts of LIfe) and Valerie Bertinelli.

I cannot begin to begin to count how many times my husband has watched Willie Wonka and the Choclate Factory (the original one). Not only do we have the DVD (burned, of course) but every time that stupid movie is on HBO, he has to watch it, even if there's only 5 minutes left.

It was on last night on Fox Family or somethin and I made my guy watch it!

I got in trouble for falling asleep at the theater when she took me to watch that movie. I wake up right at the end to two old dead people looking so peaceful on a bed together up on the screen and a theater full of sobbing and crying women.

    That sounds about right...

That movie is some powerful stuff if only you and your counterparts would stay awake long enough to find that out!!

Ummm. . .I liked The Notebook. That was one that I needed some arm-twisting to see. Two others that I have to admit that I liked after fighting against watching them was Crash and Five People You'll Meet in Heaven. I quit growing facial hair for a while after watching those but have since recovered.

    I probably need some therapy. . .

The Notebook was okay, but I doubt I'd watch it again. And I wasn't to fond of Sideways, either.

I agree but Ryan Gosling takes my vote.

Kudos to the casting director on that one!

I used to get up and go play on the computer when John would watch American Chopper, I couldn't stand the stupid fighting between Senior and Pauly. But damn it all to if I didn't watch one all the way through and love it.

I saw The Notebook with some girlfriends knowing my husband would not go see that one. Then on Valentine's Day my husband agreed to watch it on DVD with me. He loved it and even went out and bought it so that we could watch it every Valentine's Day.

Oh.... And Chopper Boy, he still has his facial hair and all the other stuff too.

But one show I leave to him alone is all the Alien movies. He has them on DVD. I saw them once and that was enough for me. He could watch AVP every weekend if I would let him. Sitting through those movies is like getting teeth pulled without anesthesia over and over again.

I cried during Bridges of Madison County.

I cried because of the pain in seeing Clint do that dreck.
