First things first, I have to play well enough and get lucky just to win this tourney on Sat, which will probably have around 120 players.
The ME would be cool, and if you survive the first 2 days, you win money, so you can make some money in that too.

He was telling me earlier when I was the chip leader that he was coming after me when he was 6K behind on another table, and I had just switched to a new table with him and the very first hand, he eliminates me...that is awfully su ious.

A-9 was death for me last night. That sucks, he only has 3 outs against you and they hit. Good play though.
Played 2 hrs 45 mins and for nothing.
Lost a good portion of my stack earlier with Ks and Js against 3 aces.
Went from 2nd place to 16th out of 50 in that one hand.
KJ is a marginal hand. Its hard to play it strongly in a tournament. I might play a MTT tonight. They are usually pretty fun.
I played in one earlier today, and lost pocket Q's to pocket A's on the first hand

I just signed up for a free roll on party where they award 1 in 15 a sat seat to a 100k tourney. cost me half of the points I've earned on that site, but I'd love to play in a tourney with a 100,000 dollar prize pool!

Saw you in the last three at a Poker Stars SNG tourney. How did you finish?
Just right now? I busted out in 3rd.
I had 66, and the shortstack had raised so I rereaised him all in. He calls and shows Q8 and he hits an ace high straight and wins.
Next hand comes and I had JJ. Once again, me and the shortstack (although he's not much shorter than me now) go heads up all in. He has A10 so he only has 3 outs (the aces) to beat me. Ace hits on the flop.
I'm now pretty short stacked, and I get 33 in the next hand. I push hoping to at least get the blinds and the leader calls. He shows 44! Neither one of us hit so he wins.
Ouch!
I just finished in 2nd in a similar SNG.
Yeah, it was a pretty rough stretch! It happens.
