I wish there was a way to pick my 99 cable channels.
It's funny that there are 20 fights a night in the NHL, and none of them even make the news, but if two NBA players get into a fight, it's automatically a sign of what cheap thugs they are. At least ESPN's priorities are in the right place; top story was Kobe scoring fifty points and losing again. A half hour ago they actually said "Lakers are losing to the Blazers, but there's plenty of time for Kobe to get 48."

omg
the Lakers are losing to the Blazers.....
Their fights are part of the game, and they dont, if rarely spill into the crowd. It's funny that there are 20 fights a night in the NHL
you dont think Ron Artest and Keyon Dooling, are cheap thugs?!?but if two NBA players get into a fight, it's automatically a sign of what cheap thugs they are
interesting.
(watching the Lakers Blazers now)
Travis Outlaw bobble head doll night?!?!?!
Are the Blazers THAT desperate?!?!?
yaaaa! id switch it with that weird sci fi channel
that woulda been a good xmas present!dangit!!
yeah, the sci fi channel is on Directv too.
Its pretty much worthless I agree.
I think it should be coming on ESPN next. They are going into NBA Fast Break after the commercial.
That's because there's so little excitement in the NHL they have to allow fights to keep fan interest up. They could stop it any time if they wanted to, instead they are basically the WWF-lite.
Only 41 for Kobe. 3-13 from three point range. They lost, too.
I don't think so tim...they are basically the WWF-lite
Jerry! Jerry!![]()

wooooooo
Wow. Two absurd points for the price of one. The only reason their fights are part of the game is because it's allowed. Until you get a point for it, it ain't part of the game. The only reason it doesn't spill into the crowd is because of that giant pane of plexiglass separating it.
What's Ron Artest have to do with the fight tonight? I've seen Ray Allen throw punches and elbows when nobody's looking. If he did it to Keyon Dooling, he deserved to get his ass kicked. You can do that to Bruce Bowen and get away with it because Bruce won't let you take him out of his game. A minor player for a bad team will lose his cool and body slam your ass. How does that make him a cheap thug? He didn't run into the crowd and attack the smallest guy he could find. In fact, he waited until they got pulled up from the chairs to throw a punch. Ray had already been swinging in the middle of the fans and had switched to kicking by that point.
because body slamming a guy PERIOD, makes you a cheap thug.A minor player for a bad team will lose his cool and body slam your ass. How does that make him a cheap thug
You don't like hockey, we get it. Move on.
Blah blah! Come on already!
yeahhh really! show me the good stuff!
At least none of the fans got involved. Fortunately it stayed in the front row, those are the rich Seattleites that get courtside seats because they're rich and that's what they do. It's a social thing.
Swift was a horrible pick, I was there at the draft party and the crowd was booing when they announced the selection. I hadn't even heard of him, I had to read his bio on the Sonics website to figure out who he was.
Radmanovic is a lost cause at this point. He likes to play SF, but Rashard Lewis plays SF. He's a bust at PF because he likes to stand around the perimeter and very rarely takes it to the hoop, not to mention an almost total lack of a post-up game and similer lack of defense. He's not happy coming in off the bench, and he always whining about playing time. He was offered a large contract, but fortunately for the Sonics he turned it down. The Sonics need to unload him, but the front office is so inept they're not going to be able to get anything decent, if anything at all, for him. For all I know they're still trying to make him work for the Sonics, they added him to the starting lineup tonight, but at this point, he isn't worth it.
What the does this have to do with "hip hop"?
Uh, yeah... so hip hop of Kermit Washington to have slugged Tomjanovich.
Hockey's been extremely hip hop ever since it was invented. That dude from South Carolina beating the other guy on the floor of the Senate before the Civil War, so damn hip hop.
oh come onnn i hate when ppl do that they say somthins next and it ends up being like the last thing they show, they do that on et hollywood entertainment allllll the time
ESPN- extremely stupid people nightly?
Actually, I love hockey. Fighting in the NBA was more accepted at one time until a guy was almost killed. Guys are going to lose their tempers from time to time, but I'm not sure why you think it's okay for Ray to do the stuff he does, but somehow fighting back makes a guy a thug. For that matter, why is an NBA player more of a thug than an NHL player when the NHL player gets into a fight every night?
Everyone's favorite candy ass gets in a fight and I have to sit through Knicks highlights? WTF?
Kermit and Rudy T?
EDIT: I see it above...
very defensive.......What the does this have to do with "hip hop"?
