Although I am not sure those are Stingrays..
WTF!? All these pics of cars and not one bikini-wearing babe?
Although I am not sure those are Stingrays..
Daimler-Chrysler effed up big time by deciding not to go into production with this brilliant version of the Charger and instead going with the POS they wrapped around a HEMI.
I kind of like the Charger, albeit its the SRT 8 version, but it is alright.
I think that MOPAR is going to release the Challenger due to the fact that the aero package sucks on the Charger for NASCAR.
Wouldnt be the first time it has happened, remember the 500 was going to replace the Taurus for Ford, until the wind tunnel tests went real bad. Wonder how the Fusion is doing at Daytona this past week.
That camaro is absolutely disustingly awesome looking.
Ill have to think about trading up......
BTW, I bought a 06 HHR. Car is awesome to the fullest.

I have driven a DB7 and was quite impressed, I could only imagine what a V12 could do!
Better start taking out 90% of the old paycheck and putting it twords that....This, one day, will be the car that I will marry
When I saw this thread I thought it said "Suck Ass Car Thread". I was thinking, "Why so many pages on bad cars?"

BTW, LJ almost bought that Prowler but changed his mind.
LJ could buy a Porsche.
But he chooses not to....![]()
Thats how cool he is.
He could roll up in a Lambourgini making Sean Elliott choade at just the sight of it.
But chooses not to.
He could roll up in a tricked out Escalade that would make Derrick Dial jealous, but chooses not to.
Thats why TIMVP continues to be the pimp of pimps.![]()
LOL,
not owned all you had to do was look at the link I provided
8 liter W-16 engine: 2 V-8 cylinder banks at a 90 degree angle. 4 turbochargers
No, it doesn't cost them 2k to make. It costs them 2k more than their compe ion because their line workers make $120,000, and get 90% of their pay if the factory goes idle or GM tries to lay them off, PLUS they still cover virtually all of their workers' health-care costs.
They might be able to overcome that were their management culture in Detroit not a cluster of accountants and myopic silo-builders who think the entire country has Michigan's climate and horrific roads.
They got a reprieve with the SUV craze, but with $2-$3 gas, that market has softened immensely and the red ink has flowed. GM has about 900-1000 days of cash left.
It's like the steel industry all over again. Eventually you will buy a "Chevy" truck built by Hyundai or Toyota, much like people buy "Dodge" trucks built by the Germans.
GM loses their ass on every car they sell, but they lose less if they can move volume. Their fixed costs are insane. That said, the new Tahoe is really, really, sweet, if one is in the market for that sort of thing.
(That was for mookie.)
thats correct, it is a W16.
I had just finished watching Transporter 2, that Audi has the W12.
so Butta and I were both incorrect.
The big advantage of that W-engine is compact packaging, no?
lighter weight, more cylenders (no replacement for displacement), higher revving motor (more consistant HP rise through the powerband), smaller package to fit in engine compartment.
2007 Ford Shelby GT500
