I screamed out loud "I LOVE THIS SHOW!" when the wall blew out...and there was no one there....and then they come through right behind the terrorists. GREATEST. SHOW. EVER.

Found some torrents of last night's episodes and made it through all 4 tonight.
Pretty good, but they're getting more and more sloppy with the timing... News breaks within 30 seconds of every event? Everyone lives within three minutes from CTU and they change in the car?
Either way, still the best show on Network TV.
Oh and that "Prequel" is a ten minute Toyota commercial. Nothing more.

All I saw was Jack Bauer racing his Toyota Avalon against that dude's BMW.
And Chloe driving a freakin stupid ass Prius.

Ok, I finished season four last night and I ran through the 4 episodes of seaosn 5 tonight.
The ing killed the Allstate President! What the !?!?!?!? And they killed my boy Tony's wife and seriously ed up Tony? Damn!
Chloe remains the funniest character on the show, and I'm not too happy with the introduction of a damn hobbit.
There are a few mainstays of each 24 season:
1) There needs to be a mole in CTU. This time the dude in the White House might be the only mole, but I woudln't be suprised to see a CTU mole eventually.
2) Jack needs to be rouge at some point. Already happend in the first episode, but woudln't be suprised to see a few more episodes of rouge Jack.
3) Nuclear Devices must be present.
Man, season five looks to be off to a kick ass start. This show is the best thing on TV right now. The funny thing is that it is so damn unrealistic, and usually that ruins for me. But Jack is just such a bad ass it doesn't even matter.

By now I guess you've heard of the prequel that runs about 10 minutes. Well, in that prequel, Chloe tells Jack that someone tapped into her computer hard drive while she was trying to doctor Jack's autopsy report. Apparently they knew what they were doing, like which files to get,..etc. Hmmm, seems like maybe a mole at CTU?? I had the same question about how they found out about Jack. I thought it might've been the guy Chloe was sleeping with. But still, why did they tap into Chloe's computer anyway? Did they find out by accident that Jack was still alive? What were they lookong for?
I'm going to wait to watch it. I watch them with Jess and shes at class, so I'll download a torrent tonight and watch it then. I'm giong to have to ban myself from this thread untill I do.

Since we couldn't find WMD's in that part of Asia, he wanted to give it to them so that we could *prove* that they had them. Like planting evidence.
And that part about Jack telling the Prez he would "disappear" again. WTF?? I think he was waiting for POTUS to day "no sir your on the job" blah blah.
Did anyone else notice that look Jack gave the President after they took mings out of the room? He just stared at him and was thinking "What a stupid f*ck you are, and you wanted me dead".
A little too much of the "I still love you Jack" stuff in this episode for my tastes.
I'm pretty sure the three women in the US who watch 24 will continue to do so without the cheesy romantic subplots.
Yea it was way to "ER" for me. They did the same thing with that skinny chick in that show. Why don't they just show her chain smoking? That's how she got those spider hands anyway. Sad but true how everyone in a office sleeps together.

Just a question for hardcore 24 fans. I've just finished watching the 1st season of this show and I have to admit, it's been ing good. I didn't think I would like it much, but I've been into it and really enjoyed the 1st season. So, now I'm watching the current season and haven't seen any of seasons 2&3. Are there any story lines/ongoing themes in the show that someone could summarize for me briefly that would add to my understanding of this season's episodes? I've pieced together some information from reading all the threads on this topic, just wondering if I'm missing out on any other critical info. Thanks for the help!
