So could there be a poll with the choices:

    Bush as US President

    or

300,000 in Darfur hacked to death with machetes?

    Ice Cream for Dessert

    or

    Eggs for breakfast.

Are you brave enough to make a choice? Well then, I applaud your courage.

Why do the people with less than 10 posts who start polls, usually start polls which make little sense?

Well....if this isn't a clear sign of the end of times... Bush is not only doing well, but is leading in the polls. That has to be a 1st.

The fact that you feel that you must bring in evidence to help people make the choice is hilarious.

The fact the question was even asked is absurd. I didn't start this thread, direct your incredulity at them. In fact, it is they that suggest Iraqis were better off under Saddam Hussein.

    But, I'm glad I amused.

The same could be said for America. Some people actually suggest that America's better off under Bush. But that's not true.

I've already commented on the absurdity of the poll.

And when you say "they" in the above statement, are you referring to the "ass-tappers"?

I find the question absurd as well, but probably for a different reason than you. The question is absurd because choosing one doesn't necessarily mean that you would have to choose it to the exclusion of the other. After all, Saddam did lead the nation of Iraq for a brief time while Dubya lead our nation. They are not mutually exclusive choices.

Were killing Iraqis at 10x the rate Saddam did, but we've also poured tens of billions of dollars of direct-aid and infra-structure improvements in the country. The problem is that the U.S. can't afford to rebuild Iraq on it's own and the Chinese, the Russians the Euro's and the UN are still stuck in the 'you broke it, you bought it mentality'. As well they should be because the U.S. went into Iraq, toke control of the Oil Ministry and all the foreign-run wells, and then arrogantly gave all the major rebuilding contracts to American crony companies with connections to high-paid Washington lobbyist.

Iraq is as bungled a mess as the Bush Administration and Washington.
