Yeah, that's a good thing to do. His are all consolidated except for one, I think.

I haven't even gotten my ing w2 yet. Bas s at TAMUCC taking their damn time sending them out.
i have the smallest amount of withholdings and i still get over 1k back.
good thing i work for myself now and will just pay those ers next year whatever i owe them.
Yeah, there's nothing better than determining that you owe a couple of thousand because this year you made an extra $1,000 in overtime which reduced your EIC by about $2,500. Cuz everyone is rich and can handle that much additional debt.

I had no idea what to expect this year. I had only 7 months of income, but paid a full year's mortgage interest and taxes, and had a chunk taken out for med flex spend. I got everything (W-2, mortgage/tax statement, interest statements) Friday and Saturday, fired up Turbo Tax and... huge refund.
I can use the cash, but damn, I'm going to have to adjust the withholding.
Me, too ... almost exactly. I didn't work the first 3 months of the year, inherited a house which I refinanced w/an equity loan....so I paid off all of my student loans (all interest deductable) and spent a fortune so far in home improvements (add'l sales tax deductions) Add all the interest & property taxes...plus daycare & the child tax credit, I got an enormous return.
For more home improvements to my Money Pit.

i still need the password for net-fidelity to import the new employers w-2 info to turbo tax. but hte estimate so far is $4800 return.... which is great sine i only loaned the gov. $1700.![]()
No ... I got almost 2 times back what I paid in. I've yet to find any kind of financial ins ution that offers that rate of return. I felt like a loan shark.![]()
Chang's on Manny again?
I'm satisfied with my 762 I'll get back, I'm just dreading the first year I'll have to pay...I know it's comming I can feel it.
I just got my taxes done on www.taxact.com![]()
FWIW, Turbotax.com is super-easy, and it only costs $19.95 to file electronically...you don't even have to buy the software.
Shiiiiit, $19.95? I qualified to file on turbotax for free! Thanks to making less than $50,000/yr.
Thanks for the info, though.![]()
I like to come up even.
Well, , then. More reason to use it.![]()
That's the best way to go ... but since estimating is not an exact science, I'd rather err on the side of refund. The last thing I need is more damn bills.

We don't normally have to pay that much, but since my husband received some severance pay last year, it jacked our income up.
This year will be interesting though since we're on our own now. Our accountant is having him pay himself less salary and pay himself dividends for the balance. It's just hard to figure what the right amount is so we don't get reamed come tax time. It's kinda weird paying yourself an income, though.
I don't have my W-2 yet.
Hey do mine for me man!![]()
no way??? noone told me about that! i use turbo tax every year, and I've been paying. dag nab it.
That's what I meant about changing my withholding. I tried to get to a no-refund situation but came out $1144 ahead. Which is better than the 4-large I loaned them last year.
Actually, I'd like the tax return a friend of mine has. Dude pays SQUAT in taxes. I mean $0.00 all freaking year, nothing taken out AT ALL, and he gets well over $3,000 "back". How is that a freaking refund when you don't pay anything to start with?
Why wait for your money when it's coming to you?
How quick do you get the refund on turbotax.com.
I'm in charge of payroll here at work, so I can always adjust every pay period. I've just estimated according to my usual refund. I'd rather just get a tiny refund, but even if I have to pay, it should just be a small figure.![]()
