Well well, look who's back from the deadWe wouldn't be talking transfer for that AHF, now would we?![]()
Now I ain't sayin' she's a gold digger[/kanye]![]()
Man...sit yo' ass down and take the money and run. It is the American way.
Awww...AHF....I thought we were closer than that...![]()
Besides I don't like Kanye anyway...I'm a country girl myself.
I was just playin'![]()
Anyway, that position was waaaaaaaay over my head. Basically the equivalent of heading up development for Microsoft Word, but for a different product.
The recruiting chick has some other positions that she thinks I'd be a good fit for as well, so we'll see.
If you ever get a chance to interview with them, be prepared, it ain't no picnic!
Hey, you best make sure them ers have a cupple thangs...
1) AEDs
2) A NO GUN POLICY
Don't say that. You know you're a bad ass AHF.
Just FYI, I don't think elementary teachers just go and apply for Microsoft jobs...![]()

No argument there about the teacher comment
The recruiter and I clicked and got along pretty well, and it was still the most brutal interview I've ever done.
And apparently that salary estimate I gave earlier in this thread was about six times too low for that job.Woulda been nice!
Clicked huh? I'm jealous...
So what's on the agenda next for you?
I have no idea. She's going to look through some other job descriptions and run my resume by some project managers for other projects, and give me a call after that.
In the meantime it's back to work![]()
Yeah, but May is sooooo far away right now. I'm going to Belize for a week![]()
Well that's good, you need it.
What'd you do for Valentines?
so when can we expect the free software to start rolling out?
Microsoft succeeded by making affordable software for affordable computers that was just good enough to get something done. One major problem has been that security and quality have been sacrificed for convenience, but all the security and quality in the world is no good if people can't use it. Another major problem is their monopoly status and their tendency to make you into a Microsoft junkie.
I like Linux myself, but you have to have a clue to use it effectively.
