Could this be Pops doing? Is Pop psychic, knowing Nazr was gonna play good just before the ASG break to increase his value?
Zeleni or whats his name is gonna try and say SA lost because Nazr dominated.![]()

If it's not meant as a bash - don't call me out.
As for the hate part - go and read some of my posts, and when you're done go read some of the Marcus&Co. posts about Rasho - then we'll discuss hate![]()
When they've been giving him run lately he's been producing huge numbers.Could this be Pops doing? Is Pop psychic, knowing Nazr was gonna play good just before the ASG break to increase his value?
It's not really that much of a surprise.
I don't disagree with that, but I wouldn't be suprised if he got traded.
Rebounding is the clearest sign of an aggressive player.
Can we all agree that Nazr "eats rebounds for lunch"? I always like to remind everyone how Nazr helped give Tim a good "tag-team" partner on the glass against that formidable Pistons front line during last years finals.
It's no secret that the Spurs will need similar efforts from both he and Rasho to be successful deep into the playoffs.
Could it be Nazr is working his way back into the starting lineup?
It's a damn shame the Spurs wasted such a fine performance by both Nazr and Parker.
i just wish his 20 rebound game didn't coincide with a game full of defensive breakdowns.
Nesterovic=Stiff. Mohammad=Beast
If I have to chose, I would prefer to keep NAZR and trade Rasho, my doubt is if NAZR can keep this level and if he ever will dunk the ball without dancing
Exactly...
Most of the TO were made when TD played with Nazr, and were made by them... in the 4th qrt and OT.
San Antonio had low FG with our backcourt while Spurs outrebounded them.
That means Spurs had weak backcourt, but frontcourt gave up the W.
Dre7, Nazr was tremendous, and we haven't got a chance to win this game with Rasho playin so little time with TD. Why are u praising a player who leads us to failures... While NAZR is playing his "bestest" games, we won only...one of them...????
If TP and Manu weren't that pumped up playing back2back doubleOT games, Spurs would lose games as they are losing now. He is hurting his team.

Since when do boards not count? Nine of those twenty rebounds were offensive. If Rasho got his minutes the Sixers would've won that game without going into OT.
The backcourt lost that one. Pinning it on Mohammed is asinine.
Frontcourt lost 5 balls in 4th qtr and 3 balls in OT.
From that: 3xTO by TD, 3xTO by Nazr and 2xTO by Bruce.
None of Finley, Manu, TP, and other guys made TO at that time!
I'm not pinning it to Mohammed, I'm just saying our clutchness was shattered by our frontcourt. TD was toothless without Rasho help on D or inspired help from TP and Manu.
Rasho played 26 mins and got a grand total of 3 rebounds and scored 2 pts.
And why don't you mention all the 2nd chance pts Nazr provided??
Rasho doesn't provide offensive opportunities to lose.
Maverick fans would know a stiff too.Nesterovic=Stiff. Mohammad=Beast
OK.
Nazr made one and only offensive board in the 4th qtr.
in OT TD and Nazr got one each. I believe non of those rebounds got back in the basket. I pretty sure for the OT, couse only 2 points (!) in the entire OT period were FG made (Manu Ginobili).
No, backcourt really sucked. I am quite sure. In the OT Nazr was pretty much...useless.
With Nazr on court Spurs could only hope to score freethrows....and a lot of them. And they did not get them, and they did not made them either... Nazr lost this game. And has 20 rebounds to show for it.
what? I distinctly remember Nazr getting a big offensive board while getting fouled, and hitting both free throws.
the only thing that makes me nervous about nazr's offensive boards is half the time he gets them it seems he gets them because he was out of position in the first place. maybe that's just what my friends and i see.
Free throws?![]()
Yeah, I'm so proud of him. He is playmaker who made a 2nd chance. Once. While Spurs were losing like they are all hobbled and are playing Pistons at their finest...
TD is an MVP candidate for many years now, and Nazr is a beast. They made numerous turnovers and I should get excited over 2 made FTs while they are making all those turnovers?
It's quite the opposite... Who doesn't score on FGs should score FT. Many FTs. In fact they would need to score so many FTs, that somebody on the opposite side should be fouled out.
But Spurs have low FT%, so they shouldn't play that game. It would be stupid even to try.
Spurs NEED to score FGs and need to take care of the ball. Nazr doesn't and Timmy couldn't take care of the ball.
Nazr is a huge burdain for the team, forcing both TP and Manu to create their shot on their own while making plays for Tim, Nazr and Bowen. The entire team-play concept doesn't work if one player is successful while playing outside the playbook. Nazr seems to be that one player.
A beast.

Youre right. If Rasho was in the game SA qould have won.![]()
Nazr got a key offensive reb and made two clutch FT's. Not that it matterd.![]()
Yes, I am impressed, they were big FT's and if Finley could have Knocked 2 ft's in Spurs would have won. BTW, I'm impressed anytime a Spur hits FT's
You and your friends see correctly. While Nazr's numbers look good, they don't contribute often to team-wide success. He doesn't make the players around him succeed by doing those little things that don't get noticed. And he doesn't know the plays. For all our griping about his not learning the defensive rotations, he really doesn't know the offensive plays either. People have to tell him where he is supposed to be when the play is called. Rasho is about the only one who helps him nicely. And this is the second game in a row where I saw the team come from a TO and Nazr did not even know HE was supposed to inbound the ball. He has alot of natural athletic ability, but I wonder- is he just not too bright- or is he just interested in building up his own numbers.
"alot of natural athletic ability"
no, he doesn't. He and Rasho are typical big man klutzes, which expains why they can't play without excessive fouling.
Nazr's low basketball IQ and inability to learn the Spurs offense and defense are probably part of a general IQ problem. But he does seem to be a nice, serious guy whose only basketball asset is being 6'10".
