How bad did Howard's ankle injury look? Did he roll it all the way over?

I actually missed when it happened...I think everybody did. Here comes Josh limpin down the court and you could hear everybody freak out lol Definently don't want to lose Josh. On the replay they showed on the screen...it looked bad but not horrible...definently didnt look as bad as his sprain earlier in the year when he stepped on Devin's foot...But he went in the tunnel right next to me and daaamn he was in some pain, you could tell.

Someone said that he could be out a couple weeks. I'm assuming that's pure speculation as he probably won't have an MRI until morning. Anyway, I hope he doesn't miss much time.

Yea, me neither. This whole top half of Texas is hoping the same.

I want to see another replay. He did come back in the 2nd quarter and tried to play some more. I can't imagine that it was all THAT drastic if he came back in the game.

We'll find out soon enough I guess.

"Why can't we face top tier teams with a healthy roster"

Why can't the Spurs have a healthy Duncan for a full season, esp in the playoffs?

Mavs are lucky Tim is struggling along at 50%.

Injury is part of the game. The Mavs lost to the Spurs too because Ginobili injured Dirk knee in 2003 Western Conference Final playoff. And we also have our share of injuries too this season with Stack, Marqueis, Keith Van Horn, Josh, etc.

There's no way Dallas was going to beat the Spurs in 2003 even when Dirk was around. We could probably make it a little interesting (just like any other all-offense team) but eventually our luck would've ran out. This year we have a much better roster and a much more realistic shot.

I agree totally man. The mavs team was of 03 was a soft in the front court. Duncan could have his way with them. With Bradley, Lafrentz, Dirk, and Najera in the frontcourt maybe Najera could've done decent but the others would get abused by Duncan.

Duncan was having a Wilt Chamberlain-type playoff performance (to differentiate from his MVP-caliber seasons - something that's normal for him) during that year too, so I thought Najera's spunk and effort was commendable. I mean he managed to piss off Timmy and squeeze out an emotional response! That's got to be worth a king's ransom at EBay!
