Props to the aggies for the win, I am completely disgusted with how our team played last night and it's THAT type of play that makes me wonder if we can even make it past the sweet 16. Aldridge just disappeared last night, no production at all. Buckman didn't play well, we couldn't make FT's down the stretch, the list is too long to even look at. BUT, the aggies had us playing their game style and tempo, they deserve the win.
I think Buckman dissappeared more than Aldridge...He was like the invisible man out there
Also, Aldridge has no balls to start demanding the rock...all he has to do is stay in his position and start yelling for the ball..he never does that..
The guards try to give it to him once per possession and if they can't then they go to other options...we can't have that when he's the sure thing on the floor
And free throw's really killed us....but i'll chalk that up to the extremely effective Aggie Fight Song (they just keep swaying and locking arms, such a good fight song)
The thing about Aldridge is that Jones is just too big and strong for him. Dude was a non-factor both games this year.
Byrne needs to cut Franchione's pay in half and give that half to Gillespie.

Joseph "The Pride Of Normangee" Jones was a FRIGGIN MAN lst night and has been all year. He will get bigger and taller and he still reminders me of DROB when he was at Annapolis. The "Normangee Tractor" would look SWEET in Silver and Black one day. Duie is JUST a SOPH and will get better and better. There were a few plays down the stretch last night where he went baseline to the hole and was hammered with no fouls called. That dude is tough. If he stops growing now, he will be "Malik Rose" type in the NBA
P.S. Rumor in my wife's office on the "CASH MACHINE" Campus has it that Acie Law's crank was hanging out of his shorts on the photo taken of his game winner. There are ZERO local Newspapers "The Eagle" to be found in BCS and the Houston Chronicle has a pic of Chris Walker running across the court after the shot (on the front of the Sports Page). Rumor, but interesting indeed...
