Sincere respose:
Are you really trying to compare Rasheed Wallace's history of on-court antics with Robert Horry's?
Robert "The Cannibal" Horry

It was sincere and I appreciate your maturity.
That has got to be the weirdest form of retaliation I've ever heard in basketball. Biting someone????![]()
Has that ever been done before in basketball?
Ah, youth.
April 24, 1983. Tree Rollins and Danny Ainge scuffle on the floor during a first-round playoff game. "Tree Bites Man" is the next day's famous headline.
No, absolutely not. But, does that mean biting an opposing player (play biting, whatever you want to call it) should be viewed differently depending on the history of the player who is doing the biting?
i.e. if Mike Tyson did not have the history of weird, violent actions, should people have LAUGHED when he bit Evander Holyfield's ear off? I know that since he had the history of rape charges and violence and macabre statemend of eating children, it was viewed even more harshly. But, biting a man's ear off is still biting a man's ear off, right?
excellent.
It would've been funny/wow/omg in the moment... but really that would've been awfull if it had gone down. And the fallout for the organization would've been awfull also.
If he had actually bit him, no, of course there's no difference.
But if, during a scuffle, Horry pretends/plays to bite a guy, I'm going to believe him if he says he was just joking around. With Rasheed, I'm going to entertain the thought that he had truly lost control.
Rob can punch nuts like Johnny Cage, I guess that's kinda dirty.

^LMAO. I forgot about that one. Poor Dave.
ShoogaBear,
Just because Rasheed gets more pub for some of his antics, I don't believe it means you should consider Rasheed dirty but give Horry the benefit of the doubt. Every player has breaking points and has done his fair share of regrettable things out of anger. And, aside from the recent Zydrunas "elbow" Rasheed gave, most of his incidents on the court have been ones of showing up the referee or talking a lot of crap, not anything dirty or violent.
You give Robert Horry the benefit of the doubt, but do you just not know some of the things Robert Horry has done out of anger in the past, or do you just refuse to remember them?

On Horry pushing Deng into the boards:
“It was a cheap, dirty play. You know, these are my teammates and we have each other’s backs. If I had to fight [Horry] I would probably lose 9 out of 10 times, but I always stand up for my teammates in any situation.”
http://www.roberthorry.net/career.htm
"Phoenix Suns forward Robert Horry was suspended yesterday for two games without pay for throwing a towel and swearing at Coach Danny Ainge."
"Los Angeles Lakers forward Robert Horry was ejected from Monday night's Western Conference playoff game against Utah after taking a swing at the Jazz's Jeff Hornacek in the third quarter ... Horry threw a punch that appeared to strike Hornacek in the chest, sending the Utah guard's neck snapping back."
"Robert Horry, generally one of the Lakers' most mild-mannered individuals, has been fined $10,000 for one decidely ill-mannered gesture. Horry shoved a TNT cameraman as he walked off the Target Center court at halftime."
Do you really want to pursue this argument?
Because you can probably cite more things in one average year for Rasheed than you can for Horry's entire career.
By that logic, there's no difference between Ron Artest and Rip Hamilton, 'cause Rip's been involved in some incidents, too.
By all means, cite all of the "DIRTY" things Rasheed has done. I want to hear them. The alleged "elbow" to Zydrunas' head last week. Ok, that was dirty. Go ahead, and cite the rest.
Rasheed has gotten negative pub for smoking marijuana (not violent or dirty), getting technical fouls and arguing at referees (not dirty, maybe sometimes bordering violent but that's arguable at best), and talking a lot of smack.
If you want to list the things Rasheed has done throughout his career on the court that could be categorized as "DIRTY" or something approaching "LOSING IT" out of anger, I would absolutely like to read that list.
Sure, if you want you can compare Rip and Ron Artest. That's my point. A lot of players have done violent or dirty things on the basketball court. Each player has a breaking point where they go over the edge out of anger or frustration. That's why I can't see why the SAME EXACT ACTION would be classified "dirty" for one player but "laughable" for another player.
Go ahead and tell me all the dirty and violent things Rasheed Wallace has done on the court.
Big Bite Bob
Someone E-Mailed the Jim Rome show calling him that

Ah yes, the glory days, when men could hit a mid-range J and weren't afraid to actually bite their opponent.
Damn Stern.
Have you seen the interview - it's hilarious! Horry says he thought about biting him but didnt, and then he says "I shoulda punched him instead"!
Also, look at the back of Rob's jersey. It's quite evident that Stackhouse has a fistful of jersey!look at this pic, look at the strain on stackhouse's shoulder. they were doing some serious hurt to each other
