I just called...they've got everything settled (except for one of our dogs who's afraid of thunder and the house alarms I'm sure will go off if the power flashes).

As soon as I read Kori's post, I had to call (my 'rents are blocks from Kori's place). My step-dad said the hail started falling while I was on the phone with them.

It's all finished here now except drizzle, so all should be cool at your parent's

Yeah ... but I don't think my car is actually worth the $500 deductible or even filing the claim.

Actually, I'm seeing how white-trash I can get it so this helps. The little dents and chipped paint are going really well with the "Service Vehicle Light" that's on now ... and since no code comes up in the diagnostic test, I can't get whatever fixed so it will turn off.

Eh...at least it's paid off.
