This is very bad news if it keeps him out going into training camp. Being a rookie, he'll struggle all year if he doesn't play in training camp.

Damn! That sucks.
When I talked to Beno on the last day of the Rocky Mountain Revue, he was so excited about coming into training camp for the Spurs healthy. He said that he was going to work out and get in the best shape of his life, play for the Slovenian team, and when he got to San Antonio we'd see the "real Beno".
I hope his knee injury isn't as serious as anticipated and it's just a sprain or a bruise.
