The Suns.![]()
I like the Sixers 2nd best, I'm a big AI fan.
Ooh and the Rockets (when healthy) are cool too. And sometimes I feel empathy for my hometown Warriors.
Celtics, since I grew up watching Russell and Company win le after le
And for some reason I'm fascinated watching the Bobcats building process
Atlanta Hawks
A glutton for punishment?![]()
Spurs, no question. Like Pop, respect the ever-loving- out of TD, heck even Manu is wearing off on me.
Pistons. Because I always liked Sheed even in his portland gangbanger days.... I also like the rest of the team.
Is it just me or should we have a girls of spurstalk calendar... it seems that every woman on this board is incredibly well endowed. woops got to go my fiance is coming
Pistons<Spurs already thought of that.
go look in the Avatar thread in the Club.
After the Pistons, my fav team is the Spurs. I root for them to lose with them so close to the Pistons right now, but I do it against my nature. They rock.
After the Spurs, I would have to say the Raptors. Thanks to Canadian cable, I get to watch every game they play and they've really grown on me (like a cancerous growth)
I would say the Spurs are #2, and I am rooting against them right now as well, simply b/c HCA is so close right now. I used to hate the Bulls back in the 90's so I rooted for teams that I thought might have a shot to beat them, i.e Pacers, Knicks, and Jazz. Other than that I have a mild interest in the Sonics. Why? For no reason in particular, but I guess I just liked Kemp and Payton back in the day
I do not think that word means what you think it means.![]()
Am I going mad? Or did the word "think" escape your lips?I do not think that word means what you think it means.
best? i would have to say Detroit and Pheonix after SA. favorite? Kings #1 baby!
Spurs I love the way they play it's like watching the Pistons.
2. Spurs
3. Phoenix
4. Magic
i definetely agree. i would have to rank the pistons my 3rd fave behind cleveland. i was excited when the pistons beat the lakers in 04, and i felt kinda bad for the pistons last year but yet happy at the same time. i have great respect for the pistons and the fans. I love their announcer, we need to boot stan kelly and bring this guy in.
just think:
TIIIIIIIIIIIIMMMM D-D-D-D-D-DUNCANNN!!!!!!!!
OK. I have to come clean. I do enjoy watching the Pistons. Ever since they uprooted nd upset the Fakers in 2004 to win their 3rd championship, I find myself rooting for them whenever they're on TV (unless they're playing us of course).
Much respect to them for the style of ball they play, their defenisive tenacity, their unselfishness and their total focus on the TEAM. They are a refreshing bunch to watch.
Over the last several seasons, I often thought how much the Pistons and Spurs mirror each other in both philosophy and style of play. Both are more substance than style, they both "fly well below the national radar", and the only goal for both is WINNING.
No other team in the league presents the nightmare matchups for the Spurs (at both ends) as do the Pistons. I was glad to see the two teams finally hook up in the 2005 NBA Finals.
Here's to what I hope will be a long-standing and heated rivalry for many years to come. (a la Celtics vs Fakers; Ali vs. Frazier; Cowboys vs Steelers; Fred Sanford vs Aunt Esther)
