    The following is tenative...

If we have 15 players on our team, the fees would be the following:

    $395 - $20 (for early registration special) = $375

    $375/15 = $25 + $10 per player

    $35 per player total!!!!!!!

Ok, ya'll are going through the San Antonio Rec. Its cheaper, but a little more hassle. You can go directly to Ancira, they have leagues 5 times a yr. SA Rec has only 3.

For one you have to pay the 395 way before the season starts and head to the office to do it, where Ancira as long as you tell them you're playing they only require you pay at least 260 the first game, then the rest the second.

The 10 additional is for a city ordinance, which you will pick up the roster form when you pay the 395 and need to have everybodys additional 10 a week before the season. Ancira you fill all that out on the first game.

I just saves you having to meet everybody and needing to drive out the pay twice, where Ancira you do it all the sameday on game day. We only play with 10 players so nobody sits, the cost is not worth the extra hassle, its only around 8 dollars more.

Now if you have 12-15, then the extra effort is worth it.

I am interested, though I've never played on a softball team before...I just know the logistics. So if you're still in need of a player, I'm down.

I think not playing in 20 years would put me right about where you are.

    No worries.

I would play but I suck.

timvp used to be awesome at baseball, so if you convince him and Kris to play that would be good for your team

I suck, too ... but I have no choice but to practice a lot. Chris is very compe ive, and difficult to live with when he's waaaay better at something.

I'd be interested, but before I was in I'd have to be sold that everyone who says they are going to play would actually show up. There's nothing worse than joining a leauge and having to forfiet a few games along the year because people don't show up.

It is too easy for people to say they are interested and then never follow up. They think "hey neat" then never think about it again.

Chris & I are definitely in ... we go crazy at my kids' games because we want to play, too.

And since there's usually nothing going on at my house on Sunday evenings and my kids are old enough to leave in the bleachers ... there's no reason why we wouldn't be able to show.

Drag Jess along, too ... so there's enough girls.
