Hey, this is actually very helpful. I'm seriously considering this now --- suggestions on my route? Places I should stop along the way? I'm coming from Thousand Oaks, just south of Santa Barbara, along the 101.
5-6 hours each way if you take Interstate 5 and stay somewhat close to the speed limits ... Hwy 1 is awesome but adds so much travel time, especially when you get stuck behind some stupid Texan driving his RV at 30 mph

You can take the coast the whole way and just cut across when you are up North, rather than take the middle of the state the whole way. That was my point.

Not with semi trailers and trucks and smei trailers 53 feet long

I 5 all the way to the top.

There is about a 5% chance of me actually driving the speed limit.

I don't think the Sac series would be easy at all. But I think it will be over in 5.

9 +/- hours if lucky via Highway 1 (and if you can avoid Bay Area rush-hour traffic). I guess instead of the route shown you could cut to Interstate 5 between Salinas and Gilroy ... but if memory serves CA 152 winds through the hills there.

    (a) it's a joke
    (b) if you've ever driven Hwy 1 between Big Sur and Morro Bay, there are long two-lane no passing stretches where invariably there's a tourist of some sort watching all the scenery go by ... slowly.

They have to hold the opposing team to under 90 points. Suns got 89 points.

Yea, this is like the third time I've watched a Lakers game where the crowd ended up chanting "We Want Tacos" at the end. Apparantly, if the Lakers hold the opponent to under 90, everyone gets two free tacos from Taco Bell.

Sadly, Lakers fans were chanting "We Want Tacos" with the same enthusiam that they chant "MVP, MVP" when Kobe's in the game. I think even he finds it funny, he was laughing on the bench.

I'm not crazy about the Spurs-Kings matchup. But I didn't want the Lakers either
How come you didn't want the Lakers? I think Spurs could take them much more easily than against the Kings.

Tim wasn't "there" for the last game at the ATT. With what appears to be a 90-95% Tim, Sacto doesn't take a playoff game here. Going in there up 2-0, I think Sacto may muster one win, but SA closes out NLT game 5.
